Part III : Journey Home

Ok, this may be waaaaay overdue, but here comes the final part of my vacation. Our weird journey home.

We got up quite early that morning, packed, and got ready to head back. Shafiqah decided to come along to KL, so we had brunch (fantastic Asam Pedas) and started our journey home.

It was still preety early, and it only takes an hour to KL, so I gave a brilliant idea..

Me : Let's take another road to KL..
Shafiqah : Yes! We should go by the 'sea road'.

So instead of taking the highway, we took the kampung road, bypassing little villages and states back to KL. Awesome idea, no? We thought it would be less boring, because you could see all sorts of things by the roadside, and since we have the whole day, why not right?
My mission of the day was to look for cempedak goreng (I just realised cempedak, in english, is cempedak) at those little stalls by the road side. Unfortunately, no go. We did find an awesome Jambu stall. Amazingly refreshing for a preety hot day.
From Melaka, started going into Negeri Sembilan, and on the way I saw this.

...and 20 minutes later, I saw this.

What's with the obsession? Ironically, I did not see any big nor size-zero chinese *confused*.

We were driving alongside the beach. So yay to preety view!!

About 1andahalfhour into the journey, must be the fact that we were by the sea or something, all of us started getting dizzy and sea sick.Or car sick.heh. We than looked for the closest highway, and shoot off to KL.

When I called my dad to tell about my genius plan..

Me : We took the old road and everyone got dizzy. And it took such a long time *cry*
Dad : You are the smart one. People spend millions and millions to build the highway, you want to take the other road.
Me :.................................................

Peter Pan the Musical

I got invites to the Gala Premiere of Peter Pan the Musical at Sunway Lagoon, on Friday, and boy I was super excited!! Oh, and we also got free access to the Night Park after the show.

Azrin : Why are'nt you wearing heels??
Me : I know Sunway Lagoon. We're gonna be walking for 20 miles. Screw heels.
Seriously, if you're going, best wear flats.or flip flops.

Oh, and guess who I found hiding behind a tree? Mellina!!

It was such a long way to the Amphitheatre, but thank god, we were walking alongside tigers, ponies, foxes, parrots and all sorts of aminals.heh. At one point, we had a pretty view, too. But by the time we reached the amphitheatre, I was sweating so much, I could drown Peter Pan.

Whimsical entrance to Peter Pan.

The amphitheatre was pretty huge. Although its an outdoor-indoor thing (with no aircond), it was pretty cold, probably from all the trees around it (see, I'm all about nature *blows nails*). Oh and also maybe because they put ginormous fans every 2 meters.heh.

I got inside at about 7.50p.m because it was suppose to start at 8p.m. Suppose to. These Europeans clearly have been Malaysianfied, because it started at 9.15. pffft. I got hungry, and had to eat ice cream.only.
Pictures of the show..

What I thought of the play :

1. I did'nt know what are the ticket prices, so after the show, I thought, it would be pretty cool, if the price of the ticket was, say, about $20-$50. Than I found out it was about $100-$180! For a 60-minute show! Go figure.

2. Probably because of the indoor-outdoor thing, but the sound system was not that good. Also, the British accent doesnt help either. How are the makciks going to understand? They would probably think it is some French play.

3. This must be the gay-est Peter Pan I have ever seen. he is more girl-ish than Wendy, for god's sake. I whispered to Azrin "He should be holding hands and kissing Captain Hook, instead".

4. It was, however, a good, happy, fun, show that doesnt leave you bored half way (probably because it is an hour), but I like it! Maybe because its free, but I kept singing their songs until the next day.

The moment the acts took their final bow, it started raining cats and dogs. There goes the night park thing. With the long way back in that super heavy rain, they should really have a mini train or bus to bring us all back to the entrance.

Oh well, I did'nt pay for it, so who am I to complain right?

Skype

*Warning : Maybe pointless for some people*

One person I super miss these days is Azaliya. I just miss her *sobs*. Havn't seen her for.... *grabs calculator*.... a long time!

So one day we skype-d..

....and here's the story.Sort of.heh.

At first we were bored...
Azaliya (A) : Ewww. still in baju tidur.
Me (M) : Its 6 a.m here in Malaysia
A : *thinks hard* No its not. It's 6 pm!
M :...........................

....and than we got sad.Probably because she misses belacan, and I miss Durian (don't ask why)
.....she tried to scare me and I cried. Mean.

...than we started dancing..

*to the left.....to the right....*
.....now, we're happy!!!

...than we started trying out our potential...

M : How big is a macaroon there?
A : Like this.
A : What else can we do?
M : Think think.

...I dont know who or what got naked...

Both : Don't look!!
M : *bangs head*
...2 minutes later..

A : Can u twirl your toungue?
M : twirl???

..and when I try to give her a kiss, she cried. sobs.

Mama's 51st

On 22.11.2010, it was Mommy's 51st birthday!!

Since I was busy on that day, and my brother was busy the next day, we only got to celebrate it on Wednesday. Poor lady, had to wait for her kids to celebrate HER birthday *smack myself*smack my brother*.

I gave her birthday present about a month ago (because I was scared I would be broke by now, which I am)

.

So on Wednesday, all of us went to The Ship for her birthday dinner. It was freaking packed, for a Wednesday night.

One section of the Menu was really cute..

I had Betty, and Azrin had Barney.

Geddit?Betty and Barney?? Awwwwwh, so sweeeeeet.
I was so hungry (did'nt eat whole day to save space for steaks), and ended up finishing everyone's food.heh.

Azrin and I came earlier because we had a surprise up our sleeves.
"SURPRISE!!!!"

Oreocheesecake- to-die-for!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!! This is why I love my mom to death :

1. She would wait up for me to get home everyday, even if it's 4 a.m.
2. Everyday when I get home (even at sunrise), I would lie down next to her and we would talk about our day for hours.
3. She is the best cook in the world.Period.
4. She loves shopping. She loves handbags. She loves clothes!!
5. She is the best Bank ever. Unlimited loans, no interest, no repayment. 100% love.
6. She steals my handbag, and I charge her.sometimes.
7. As blonde as I am, she makes me look like Einstein.
8. She knows me inside, out. Trust me, she knows more secrets about me than my girlfriends

She is the most amazing, incredible, wonderful woman I have ever met.

One time I stayed at home for one whole day..

Mom : I will give you money to go out
Me : ..............................

I love you, Mama!!
