Speak Nicely

I was on the way home from Abang's house in Kota Damansara. I use NKVE to go home because its faster even if it has RM1 toll. Last night, at the Damansara exit, as I was in the Touch n Go lane, the beep sounded a bit different and that 'palang' thing wasnt going up.

JUMLAH RM 45.90
INSUFFICIENT AMOUNT

...........................

*reverse a little, try again*

Same thing.

Realised that only Azrin's car was behind me, I asked him to reverse to I can go to the next Touch n Go lane. Before the lane gets all jammed up. Same thing in the next lane. Since there was no car behind, I reversed and went to the next tunai lane. I didnt wanna cause any hastle and I know how people get so irritated and start honking when the lanes get jammed up. So my point of going to the tunai lane was to tell someone my problem..but boy was i wrong. She was so rude!

Me: Kak, kad saya tak boleh guna
Lady: Takda duit memang lah tak boleh guna!!
Me: Saya ada 10 ringgit dalam tu, takkan KD-Damansara tak cukup ke
Lady: Habis apsal tak boleh?!?!
Me : (if I know, I wouldnt be here now would I?) Tak tau....
Lady: Kenapa awak datang sini, mana saya tau nak buat apa
Me: (blood boiling and line is getting long behind) Habistu saya nak pergi mana?
Lady: Awak patut tunggu je la dekat lane Touch n Go lepas tu tekan interkom
Me: Saya datang sini sebab takut nanti lane sana ramai orang tapi takda orang datang tolong (clearly i would rather talk to a tree than u!)
Lady: Tengok! Sekarang dekat sini dah jam
Me: (THAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!) well, at this point I was cursing at her because of her rudeness and what I said to her is definitely not appropriate for public viewing.

Then that lady looked like she was gonna cry. She then apologised, smiled and asked me to go to the office. I dont get why people can only be nice after they have pushed all the worng buttons and the other person have exploded? Can't people be nice from the beginning and settle things nicely?

Just a simple thing, if she could just let me go to the office and claim my money that they cut from my card, everything would be settled. Thank god the lady at the office was so kind and nice (I dont know what sort of headsup bitch lady gave her).

Azrin's Durian Birthday

It was Azrin's 25th birthday yesterday and Sofia and I planned something different..because we were bored. And hungry. We went out looking for Durians. You see, our aim was to look for Durians, bring it back home to Azrin's house, invite our friends over, stick some candles in them durians and voila. But no.....Sofia decided to stop for some rojaks, tau foo fah, mangoes, and she was driving while eating chicken chop.

-____________-

At last, we got to the durian place.

"We take 10"

Sofia: Let's have one first before goin back.
Me : Yes, just a teeny one.

Got home, waited for Fara, Hazren and Jonathan to come and enjoyed durians. Kinda sucked because some of them don't even have isi in.

Azrin: How much was the durians?
Me: They were selling 1 for RM32, but we got it for RM30 for 10 durians.
Azrin: Did u sleep with the durian uncle or what?
Me: -____-

Jeez.

Happy Birthday Sayang. Present you tunggu gaji i ok. Ngee,

Kebab Turki

Back in my Cempaka days (awesome-est times!), I was in the same class with a bunch of boys for a couple of years. They called themselves 'inky' and everyone else called them that too. Pretty catchy, huh? After *counts in head* what feels like a million years, I have not asked them whay 'inky' means.

Now, all grown up they've set up a company, Inky Sdn Bhd and one of their projects is this Kebab business and I went to support them on their launching of their first outlet (they got me at 'free kebabs')

Of course I was one of the first there. Even the inkys were'nt there yet -____-

Oh so proud of them! Who knew, the class jokers who slept in class all the time (except Mr. Sheat's chemitry class eeeek), didn't do their work, got all the teachers' blood pressure up could later on establish something which I know would be "something" in the future. Watch out for these guys!

Look at this woman, cutting veges, mata pandang lain.

Btw, them kebabs were delicious. Azrin wanted to order 3. Meh, anything to support friends, no?

Come try their kebab guys! Ask for beef kebab with extra cheese. Died! Their first outlet is in Summit, near KFC and Johnny's. Come try k!

Still Tanned

I'm in need of a holiday. Air asia's cray cray sale is not helping. Life right now is work-date-sleep-work-date-sleep cycle. Urgh.

Just as I was about to click and book a trip to Bahamas (I wish!), people I met have been giving the same comments...

"You look tanned"

"Did u just got back from a beach vacay...?"

-_________-

I take it as a sign from God. To be by the beach.

Hehe. Have a great week, everyone!

Fifty Two

It was Azrin and I's 52nd month anniversary the other day and it was my treat this time. Brought him to a Japanese buffet dinner at Sunway Putra Hotel (used to be Legend Hotel). Our kedekut-ness made us starve the whole day to wallap the buffet at night *shakes head*

Though it was an anniversary dinner, no staring in each other's eyes, no flirting, no eyelash batting whatsoever. It was game time! Haha. This is what more than 4 year relationship have brought us to. We hardly talked to each other because we were taking turns taking food. Major fail!

Was just my food and I..

Round 1
Round 2

Round 3 (I was exploding!)

Round 4
Round 5

Burp. Happy anniversary. Haha.

Mother's day

She took good care of me for 23 years. Any "I dont feel so good" from my mouth, she would have sleepless nights worry-ing (which is why sometimes I sit quietly in my room when I'm sick). Even when she can't walk she would insist on cooking for me. For all of us. That's a mother's love. No limit.

Mama loved receiving presents. Big or small, as long as its perfectly wrapped (genetic OCD), she's happy. That smile on her face when she opens a gift..priceless.

First time in my life, I could not give her anything. No cracking my head a week before thinking of what to get her. Feels kind of weird, actually. Even with no Gucci bags, diamond necklaces, Dior perfume sets, at least this year I could give her the most important gift- my doas and prayers for her.

I love you Mama. Hope you're doing good, where ever you are, hopefully with delicious meehoon soup :)

*hugs*

Al-fatihah.

Birthday Lovebirds

Hello, world! How I've missed blogging. Honestly, have'nt switch on my laptop for more than a week now. My life now is work-dinner-sleep.

It was Fara and Jon's birthday couple of weeks back. They had a small dinner gathering at Italiannies. Guess who arrived before the birthday couple?

Me. And Azrin.

She ordered food enough to make VS models fat! Delicious.

...and it's bully time! I hate places that make u stand on the chair, table, stove, pillar or whatever on your birthday and ask you to do stupid things. HATES it. Pretty cool to watch other people get bullied la but if it was me, I'll start crying.

Happy Birthday Jon and Fara. Pssssst, they're getting married 4th May 2013. Hee.

That brownie/cake/little drop of heaven was so freaking good! *drool*

Guess what I got for them?

Book Fest

Yes, Ive been pretty quiet with my blog for the past week. It happens. I have a reason though..

This.

I love to read. Give me a good book, and I'll forget any friends, pets, laptops, ipads I have. Honestly, my laptop have been collecting dust from under my bed. So, hello world.

I did'nt know I was entitled to the 1Malaysia book voucher thing until Sunway called me lecturing on why didnt I pick it up (because I didnt know about it, duh!) and with only about a week left to use it, I went cray cray!

OH! I have this big problem since I was little. I cant sleep with any light on. Not sunlight, not moonlight, not streetlight, no! Must be pitch dark for me to go to dreamland. So every night I read till I get comfy and sleepy, which sucks because then I have to get up, switch off the lights and lie back down, not feeling sleepy.

Until a genius came and save my beauty sleep.

*tears of joy*

Ok, goodnight.
