Last Week

I may have blogged my celebratory for finishing work and focusing on just studies and what not.

Yeah. NOT. Hell to the No.

I am starting to think I am taking in too many things that I'm starting to not able to juggle everything.

So now, I have VU class in the morning, ACCA class in the evening. Or I would work in the office until 10 pm. AND sometimes I have to bake after. I am so tired that I fell asleep while driving. Best.Nap.Ever.

I may sound vey whiny-ish this past couple of posts right? But honestly, these are the only thing that's going on in my life. So I really have nothing to blog about. Unless you want to know my disagreements with my boss, or me feeling like stabbing my clients, or some annoying phone calls to customers.

.....I miss my TV. I miss my E! News (any hot goss going on in Hollywood now??).

Ok, but my boss promise this Sunday will be my last day of work. That is why we are pushing all our projects to this weekend, so I probably have to work until midnight or something.

*cricket sound*

Alright, alright, you might not even get what I'm trying to say. Heck, I don't know what I'm talking about. I swear, for my birthday, I amswitching my phone off and go for a nice vacay. Woot woot.

Now, off to work.

Dear God, please make work easy for me today. I am not in the mood. Amin.

*too lazy to make this a colourful, so just imagine its all colourful ok.heh*

Girls

Friends have been complaining I don't see them much.anymore.

Yeap, with work, and classes and other stuff, I barely have time for myself *looks at un-manicured nails*. So my semester break is coming to an end, and I have stopped working, enjoying my final days of freedom.

I promised I was going to go see the girls on Friday, which is also my subject registration day. So we met after.
Oh, how I've missed them. Well, except Fara, because I see her at work everyday.heh.

We had tea at this cute little cafe in Subang (upstairs of Bawang Merah). Honestly, did'nt know this place exist until mayor of Subang, Fara suggested. We even had the whole balcony to ourselves. This means, gossip until the sky falls.

Yes, pasta is part of "tea".

..and here's a tip. When you're with your girls, and have nothing to do, go and watch tamil movies fighting scenes. For twice the fun, watch it without subtitles, and make up your own story.High-larious!

Alright. this marks the last day of my 3-months break. Starting class tomorrow! Blergh. Btw, on thursdays, I have a 4 hour break, so feel free to teman me ok-Sunway College, thanks.

Let's hope everything goes well this semester.Amin.

Balik Kampung

Ah yes, got my blogging momentum back on. Realised that I havn't blog about my trip back to Kedah.

I'm blessed because I have two kampung with two different environment. Dad's from Muar, Johor and Mom's from Jeniang, Kedah. Dad was from a more modern village, whereas Mom was from a real kampung, as in wooden house, surrounded by all sorts of trees, and the house is even by a river. Mom and Dad was sort of the city boy, meets village girl.heh.

Many of my friends think that I am a spoilt girl who would die in a jungle. I mean, if I have a choice, of course I would pick The Four Seasons, duh, but a couple of pacats and kerengga is nothing.

Alright, maybe carrying around insect repellent doesnt kill.

Eh, think of all the diseases insects could give ok! Malaria, dengue, it kills.heh.

So after not going back to Kedah for what seems like 30 years, we all went back for a cousin's wedding.

30 years ago, it would take 10 hours from KL. 10 years ago, it would take about 5 plus hours but now 3 hours ish and we're there. What used to be dark, bumpy, curvy road, is now all highway. Talk about development! or maybe Dad's been driving crazier than usual.

What happens when people hav'nt seen people in ages? Weepy, Jejak Kasih moments, of course. It's about time our pakciks and makciks have fb huh? Or imagine a lady BBM-ing her friends while tapping rubber.Super cool!

This big gathering this time is particularly special, because my relatives from Indonesia came down to celebrate with us. The last time I met them was when I was still in Primary school, when we went there for a wedding. Particularly love their outfit. Black, very slimming. Genius!

I got a teeny bit dissapointed with the wedding. I mean, I drove freaking 4 hours for the full village wedding experience right? I remembered back than, whenever there was a wedding, ladies from around the village would come by from the night before with a knife (scary ladies, I tell you) to help cook for the wedding. So one person will be in charge of onions, some will be boiling eggs, some were just there to find out who the neighbour just got married to. This time around, I found out that the wedding was catered. Say what?..and I was prepared with the kain batik.pfft.

What ever happened to tradition??Sobs.

Wedding was, however, just lovely. Food was delicious. Very intimate, and very very hot wedding (as in the sun hot).

At night, we had a little cake-cutting ceremony, with just us families. Bride and groom were in traditional Indonesian outfit, to be in touch with their heritage.

The next day, went for the ceremony at the groom's house. Was a pretty quick one, because you know how I was pushing Mom and Dad head back to KL fast due to the mad traffic.

Celebrating love?

First of all, Happy Maulidul Rasul.

and with the whole commotion of Valentine's Day being haram and what not, well, if you're in love, and if u feel like taking your loved ones out for a nice dinner, shower 'em with some gifts, than I don't really see the problem with it. For us Muslims, it's not like we go to church to celebrate Valentine's day, right?

Oh well, each person with a different view. Yes, we should celebrate our love everyday. To those who said that it is wrong to celebrate, "Do you guys celebrate your love everyday, bring your husband/wife/mother/father/sister/brother for a nice dinner EVERYDAY??".

Anyway, in my case, usually every year, Azrin and I celebrate Vday on the 13thFebruary (technically, we don't celebrate Vday, no?) because our monthsarry is on every 12th. So rather than going out on Vday where all restaurants decided to shoot up their price by 30%, why not just spend it the day before.

Sadly, this year, boyfriend had to work on 12th, 13th and 14th, so we got to celebrate Annivalentine's Day today.sobs.

Technically, still not on Vday. So still not "celebrating Vday" hehe.

All we could do was lunch. Yes, Azrin has to work, and too busy for his girlfriend who just sits at home whole day BBM-ing herself because bf is too busy to reply, and even today (public holiday) he still has to go to work and could only squeeze in gf for a quick lunch.

You know, luckily he has an understanding girlfriend, who sets alarm at 1a.m so that she's up when he finishes work. Awwwwwhhh. *pats back*

*cough* a little *cough* gift *sneeze* wouldnt hurt *hiccup*

AAAAANNNNYYYWHOOOO, we had steamboat for lunch! Woohoo!

aaaaah, you just see love much more sparkly when tummy is full.

*burp* alhamdulillah.

Now, whatever day you've got, Vday, Christmas, Deepavali, Chap Goh Meh, whatever, it does'nt matter. When the government gives you a day off, y'all better head to a mall, until they close the parking space, and celebrate your love.

Gee Bump!

Guess who I found wandering around the kids area?

Haha.
Ok, more me having to beg Mr-I'm-too-bz-with-career-in-Aussie to come see me, because he was only here for a week.boo!
Geebump!!!
Not to whine, but it sucks that I can only see him once a freaking year! *sticks out tongue*

So I had one day for him (I even skipped work) and all we did was talk, talk, talk, talk...and talk. Fun.

Had dinner at Chilis

Oh and I got him his birthday present. Guess where I got it from?

A sex shop *gasp*. No, the tube is not lube, its from Body Shop. Just the mug is from a sex shop.

Nothing creepy (although they did sell weird stuff in there), just a mug, that when you put hot water in, the lady in bikini on it will go naked.HAHA. That is as naughty as I can be *points at halo on head*

*burp*

Now he's gone! Probably for another year. We havn't spend our birthday together (same birthday) for the past 87 years.sobs.

Stuck

How many of you geniuses went out of KL during the awesome long break last week?

How many of you Einstein decided to come back to KL yesterday??

If you just cringed, I know what you mean, dude.

I woke up in the morning yesterday, did my usual morning routine-no, not a couple of laps of jogging. Twitter.

Me : Abah, die lah. According to Twitter people are taking 8 hours to go back to KL from Penang.
Dad : Hahahaha.Such lies.
Me : *how could he not trust the power of Twitter* pffft.

So off we went to the wedding, visit here, visit there, I was constantly reading traffic updates on Twitter. So I tried to convince Mom about going back earlier.

Me : Ma, see jam! *shoves Blackberry in her face*
Mom : Nope. Yesterday was jammed. Today sure clear.
Me : *not another one*

At 3 p.m, we made our way home from Kedah.

At 5 p.m, we were still in Kedah.

*pretends to sleep so I don't have to drive*

"See, I told you. No. See, Twitter told you"

"How does this Twitter thing works, anyway?"

Ok, dont get me started in trying to explain the whole concept to Dad. Than every 5 minutes he was asking me "to check my Twitter" for updates. He even asked me to pass him my Blackberry for HIM to check.HAHA.

"Now all of a sudden you depend on Twit, huh?"

OMG what was up with the highway yesterday? Every RnR was like a Jom Heboh. People were peeing by the highway, for god's sake! Poor plants. The three of us had to throw our drinks out the window and shut out bladder the whole way.

8 hours.

Yeap, no pee for 8 hours. *looks at the man that laughed when I said we were going to take 8 hours to KL*

I got home and died.

I wish I could just straightened my body back on my fluffy bed today, but had to spend the whole day sitting.

My butt is numb.

Happy CNY

Ok, I'm like 23 hours late, but Happy Chinese New Year!

I got into the festive mood, and forced Azrin and myself to wear red to go out for dinner (but I did see some chinese wearing black and stuff.Isn't that like bad luck or something.Bad). Since I can't handle yee sang, I chose to have a sort of similiar kind of dinner.

STEAMBOAT. Ok, that's chinese, right? I'm not too sure but I could google it and get back to you. For now let's just say food that's super hot and eaten by chopsticks are chinese, alright.

So off we went to steamboat, and when we reached..

Me : Of course its close! They have to go Raya right *smacks forehead*
Azrin :............................
Me : Why are there still many people in the mall *looks around*

So we had dinner at MFM. wait, Yee Sang has fish in it right?

Geddit? Yee Sang=Fish=MFM. Yes, Gong Xi Fa Cai.

I'll be off to my kampung tomorrow for the weekend (smart move of Dad not to go today because according to Twitter, highway was mad jam), so Ajin and I drove around and eat ice cream.

The things we do. Gross huh?

I was trying to do a "blonde teeth" gesture *waves at Haniff bin Othman atau nama glamournya Kojek*. HAHAHA (sorry, inside joke).

Anywho, a tad sugar high here. So Happy Chinese New Year. Have a properous year ahead (or you could just go eat Prosperity Burger). See yah!
