This is why

For my birthday last month, I had to remind everyone not to buy me handbags (of course that one friend of my bought me a handbag still) but they kept saying "Why? But you love handbags" and "..but you're such a handbag person."

This is why.

Headache. This does not include the ones Mommy left me. She had 3 cupboards of handbags. Like mother, like daughter, they say. Hee. I had to get rid some. Painful, but I have to give way to new ones, no?

Not much difference. I can't. Every handbag has its own story. Now they're all nicely kept in my brother's room because there's just no more space in mine. In my defense, Abah moved all his clothes to Abang;s room the moment he moved out (Abah has 4 ginormous cupboard of clothes, its sickenning!).

Look at the amount of crap I found while cleaning up each bag! I completed my degree in Accounting and Finance without owning a calculator (sorry to all the malang people who sat next to me during exams!) but I actually had two!! TWO! I really dont know who these calculators belong to, but if I've stolen yours, come get it from me k?

Sofia's Engagement

Last Sunday, all of us head down to PD for our girl's big engagement day. We were a bit late (blame Sarah!), but we made it. We were so excited to see her!!

Aww don't she look pretty?! Like a doll :)

"We buy her for 10 bucks"

"Hell, no.. We're selling her for 20k"

"....but she's colour blind. 3k?"

"....with a Chanel bag!"

"Sold"

They were whispering, I couldnt hear anything. Assuming the negotiation was somewhere along those lines. I was eager to see her slowly walking down the stairs ala Kate Middleton, with hair lusciously flowing, waving and blowing kisses to everyone...

....and she quickly jogs through everyone and sat. -___-

If y'all think her outfit is super glamourous, wait till you see her shoes! Jimmy Choo can go suck it. Even better than them red sole shoes..

Gorgeous! Haha.

Happy Bertunang, Sofia! She's reserved. By Hazren. Awww. OH! OH HAZREN TOTALLY CRIED THAT DAY. HEE.

Two

Today marks this blog's 2nd Birthday. Can't believe I've been crapping for 2 years and even though there's only 7 people reading it, I'm so proud of it!! *pats back*. Seven people is Azrin, Mak Ngah, Pak Su, Sofia, Azaliya, Fara and sometimes Sarah (only if I write about her). Hi guys! Hehe.

I must say, I really enjoy writing (which is weird because I hated writing essays in school!), I like how people can know about my daily life and really know who I am because for the past few years some people assume I live a different life; like I'm this wild girl who parties every night getting drunk and what not (Hello! If you know me well, you would know I would rather buy freaking shoes than spend my money on alcohol! Also, if you're really my friend, you would probably know that I sleep at 9pm- How to go party?). Yes, I'm not an angel, I do party, I do go clubbing, but I'm smart enough to know what's Halal and Haram so stop spreading rumours pls.

So by blogging, I basically tell what I do everyday and how my life is not that interesting (probably why there's only 7 people reading), I am just an average twentysomething year old girl.

Happy Birthday LuckyTwentyEight.

Today also marks 2 months since Mommy left us all. For the first time, I dreamt of her last night, woke up crying so I was not in a good mood today. I just wanted to be alone, flipping through Mom's pictures. I miss her. So so much.

I love you Ma. I miss you. Al-fatihah.

Happy Movers

My brother and SIL is moving into a gorgeous house. As his favourite sister (ehem!), of course I would lend a hand to help, right? Since I have the biggest car that could fit the whole world in, I spent a mid-week break to help a sibling.

I grabbed my assistant and that curly little helper, called ourselves "Happy Movers". Maybe I should start a moving company. Hehe.

Abang: You guys are the most useless movers. Arrived an hour late, resting nicely on the couch while everyone else load the car, make us serve drinks to you AND demand for payment.

Haha.

"I dont do free labour, and working on a public holiday is triple pay"

My little workstation:

My job that day:

Popcorn. Yumm. Which was later confiscated by my supervisor:

"Supervisor lagi tak boleh harap, come here, eat popcorn and go home. Susah lah kerja dengan arab ni"

......anybody wants to hire us?

Krabi Part 3- The Tour

You know what happens when Sarah and I plan a trip (or anything for that matter)?

Nothing happens.

We tried planning where to go, what to do within that 48 hours we have in Krabi, ended up with us Google-ing the map of Thailand, not understanding anything, tossing tablet away, start playing poker.

Fail.

Thank god, our driver in Krabi was such a sweetheart and brought us to a guy that could plan tours for us. Sarah wants to go to Phi-phi and I only want to go to Maya Bay (where the film The Beach was shot!) so we settled for a tour that brought us to a few places. Everyone happy.

First up, Bamboo Island. For the record, hell there was no bamboo.

Next, Viking Cave. Looks scary. Apparently there are drawings on vikings and what not. Spooky. Beautiful water, though. Hehe.

Then, we went somewhere I forgot the name. Cant go down, just more for taking pictures and enjoying the view from the speedboat.

Next, Maya Bay!! Oh so freaking beautiful! I wanted to tie myself to the tree so I didnt have to leave.

Last, Phi-phi Island. Had lunch there and just chill by the beach for a couple of hours before heading back to Krabi.

Went snorkelling somewhere, for the first time. I was so scared!! There was so many fishes down there and I thought they were going to eat me alive so I quickly waddle my way back to the boat, climbed up and hide. Major fail!

..so that's it for my Krabi trip. I really really enjoyed it. Azrin, Sarah and Jeremy definitely made it funner with their dramas. Haha. Where to next, guys?

Krabi Part 2- The Food

I'm a strong believer of 'no diets on holidays'. Actually, I dont believe in any diets, period. Enjoy food while you can, man. I once saw this documentary on this kid who was allergic to food, I cried.

There are many Muslims in Krabi so looking for halal food was easy. Although they don't have any official 'Halal' signs like we do, I look for any ladies with tudung working in the restaurant, and if there's any pork in the menu. If that's the case, they usually serve Halal food (of course, ask to double check). Anyway, it was carbo-fest for us. Freaking fried rice for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper.

Fried rice with crab meat

Beef fried rice
On the plane back to KL...

"Did the seat get smaller or something? Coulda sworn we had more space 2 days ago"

............................

Seafood there was superb!

Fish with sweet, sour and spicy sauce

Squid with garlic and pepper
  and of course, Tom Yam!!!

Slrp.

Krabi: Part 1- The Swing

If you're my follower on Twitter, you would have known how jakun I got when we checked in. I was in awe! First of all, fantastic customer service. Greeted like a king. There I was with my crazy hair and no make-up and comfortable, non stylish clothes (comfort is important when travelling), but they still bowed till they could almost kiss the floor, and greet us by our name.

"Crap, how'd they know who we are..."

At first I was offended when they called me 'Sir' (well, it was normal for Sarah to be called Sir but not me), but I learned that the Thais call everyone (male, female, she-males) Sir. Pheww.

When we got to the room...OhMyGod.

Went to the balcony and screamed (imagine Sarah and I screaming at the same time. Eek).

THERE'S A SWING. IN EVERY ROOM!

Unbelievable. They should have had two in each room because Sarah and I had to sit on one and she kept swinging circularly. Pening lah.

We stayed at Pavillion Queen's Bay, Krabi. Highly recommended! It was just gorgeous.

Sun Fun

Came back yesterday from a short trip to Krabi, Thailand. Awesome trip.

Except for the fact that I burnt my back and I cant even carry my handbag over my shoulder, it was just amazing. Posts coming up. Just let me put a couple of bottles of Aloe Vera gel and let me get to the posts (even sleeping hurts!).

Here's a little teaser...

Hehe. Oh btw, discovered that I'm actually scared of flying. Actually, only when the plane's up there and turning. You know how it tilts sideway when its turning. OH SCARY! Thank god for awesome food on the plane to get my mind off the heights.

Back to work. Sucks. I want to get paid for holiday-ing. Ah, dreams.
