Its a Sickness

One of my sickness - if I buy a present for someone, I must give it on the spot and make that person open it in front of me.

Azrin and I was on a mission to buy gifts for these 2 people - Little Sofia and Big Sofia.

So cool that the birthdays of my 2 favourite Sofias are two days apart!

Little Sofia

Elisa informed me that she wanted this My Little Pony doll - Rarity.

Azrin and I went to a couple of toy stores to look for that damn doll. You see, Rarity is one of the character out of a whole group of creepy looking dolls with colourful hair. Little Sofia wanted  Rarity, she's going to get Rarity.

All the stores had all the dolls. Except Rarity. Azrin and I were hunting it like crazy. He was this close to calling his relatives in US to ship over a Rarity.

"Rarity is really rare apparently"

So I got her Rainbow Dash (which looks like a character from Avatar) and Azrin got her Applejack.

Happy Little Sofia!!

She even took her dolls for a ride. Hehe.

Big Sofia

Walked around to look for a cute handbag for her. It was so hard because she and I have different tastes.

I prefer bright coloured, out there kind of bags.

She likes black, nude, beige coloured bags. Probably because she can't see colours. Haha!

Got her this bag. I texted her right after...

"Po, I got you this pink glittery handbag with neon yellow handle and big gold padlocks. Its gorgeous. Coming over to give it to you!"

Happy Birthday you two!!

International Women's Day

Last Saturday, Little Pei turned 3!!

Brought her jalan-jalan after dinner in Publika, and I saw white T-shirts hanging in the air. Went closer and there were writings on the T-shirts.

It was International Women Day and on the T-shirts were statements which I believe are from women who were abused, mentally or physically.

There I was, standing in the middle of Publika, looking up and reading them one by one.

Sad.

Most of these abuse are from husbands. How are we suppose to know if the man we are marrying will turn out to be jerks? Or is it our fault / something we did that makes them like that?

Me : Why can't they just grab a golf club and belasah the psychos?! Why bother staying with the husband?
Azrin : Not everyone's like u! These ladies should go training with you.
Me :  *smack him*
Azrin : See! I think I should put a t-shirt up here too

-_______-"

I have seen a husband mentally torturing his wife right before my eyes. It sucks because people around them can't do anything because its not like he is slapping her face left and right. I could see the fear in her eyes. Love, but a few pinches of fear. If it was up to me, he would be eating my shoe before he could finish his last sentence. Jerk.

I am thankful that I don't have anybody like that close to me. In fact, the men in my family are quite...feminine. Haha. For example, SIL is the one fixing Little Pei's bicycle while Abang watches TV while eating Rotiboy

*shakes head* Hahahaha.

In my religion and culture, we are not allowed to live with a boy before marriage. Well, for some people they would'nt even know the guy they're marrying until their wedding day. We would'nt know our future husband's attitude fully. They might be all rainbows and sunshine when out dating, but who knows if he's a psycho at home.

Realised Azrin loves them psycho/killing/blood kinda movies *shivers*

Daddy always reminds me to look for a man who prays and cares for his family, because if he is beriman, most probably he will be a good husband. Insyaallah.

Ladies, remember, golf clubs! Senduk also can. Grab whatever closest. Smack the guy who abuse you!

S Club

Thursday night is ladies night, no?

Calm down Daddy, your little girl is not going to go shakin' it on a podium. Too old for that now Never done it, haha! I'll probably fall asleep on the podium anyway.

Aaaanyway, my version of ladies night these days - Having burgers with the girls. Then go home and sleep.

Seriously guys, I'll be comfortably hugging my blanket, all ready to ship off to dreamland at about 10pm. On a Saturday. Even daddy and stepmom will go out on a Saturday night to watch some jazz band stuff. I wanted to follow but my eyes said no.

Sucks.

So yeah, Sofia wanted to have a girls night out and she wanted us all to try her new found kind-off-obsession Burger Factory!

Sofia : I'm leaving my husband at home, so you leave you boyfriend also.

I havn't seen them for so freaking long! You see, our names all start with S. We have 2 SHARIFAHs, 2 SARAHs and 1 SOFIA. Have to find one more Sofia to join the club lah! Haha. The S Club. Haha

Oh the food? It was goooood! Seriously, delicious! They even have this blue-cheese burger thing..yumms!

I tapau-ed a burger for dad and stepmom to eat...they gave the green light too!

Y'alls should try it, seriously!

Tomorrow is World Ladies Day! Guys, be nice to your mother/sister/aunt/niece/wife/girlfriend/grandmother/grandaunt/all the ladies. Not just tomorrow, but all the time! Cheers!
