Game Night

Sorry I've been kinda MIA past week or so. With Mommy in and out and in again of the hospital, I've been a tad busy. She's ay-ok now, alhamduliilah. Quite a scare for us. Thank god everything is back to normal. Thanks everyone for all the calls and smses of wishing Mommy well. She felt kinda cool for a second. Dots.

Anyway, last night was a little game night. Well, poker night. Havnt played poker for a while and its about time to use the poker set Azrin bought (I was pushing him to buy in Melbourne because I was broke by then).

Mom: Malam-malam Jumaat you want to go play poker?

Haha.

I started with this.

Ended up with this.

Champion *flips hair*.

Anyway, were one step away from a brand new year. Gotta list down my resolutions (some are pretty ridiculous and are barely achievable). What are your new resolutions? I'll tell you mine soon :)

If I have ever 'terkecilkan' your hati, my sincerest apologies :)

Have an amazing New Year celebration (just double awesome with the extra long weekend, huh?). Don't do anything I would'nt do. Have fun, dont do anything illegal.

See you next year guys!

Melbourne Part 6: Shrine of Remembrance and Classic Car Museum

This i going to be the last Melbourne post, people. I managed to make it short!

My first day there, Azaliya brought us to Shrine of Remembrance. We reached there and I was thinking 'wait a minute, this is familiar'. Yeap, I've been here before with my parents. Its just like our Tugu Negara, only colder. Haha.

"Who did Australia go to war with?"

Never got an answer. Til today.

That A in Geography is a lie.

Our last day there, we went to a classical car museum (because its open 3 days a week, from 9-1pm. Fail!). It was quite amazing to see old cars and some new ones too. Met a 'mat salleh' who lived in Malaysia for sometime and can speak perfect BM. Thank god I was'nt cursing in Malay like I always do. Phew.

That's about it for my trip, guys. Oh one more thing (sorry, had to put this up), Azaliya and I attempted to cook! Don't say we can't cook ok. Crazy commotion in the kitchen, but hey we did it! Probably hygine level not so high HAHAHA.

Ayam masak lemak cili padi (lies, there's no cili padi) and sambal tumis udang! Both were so freaking spicy I was crying for an hour. Even after a kilo sugar tossed in, we could'nt get the spicy-ness out. Eh, at least no one got a stomach ache. Or died.

Again, THANK YOU Aja for having us. Thank you Mak Ngah (cuz she's reading this!) for lending me a house. Thanks everyone, Seth, Zehan, Ryhan, everyone for making my trip a super duper enjoyable one. Sorry for the mess and I'll be back! Hehe.

Melbourne Part 5: Food

If you're on a diet or fasting or hungry but have no money, slowly move your cursor to that little X on your top right and click. This is a warning.

No? Still reading? Think you're so strong huh? Haha. Oh well, dont say I didnt warn you.

I am probably one of those Malaysians who goes overseas and gets excited when I see restaurants with names like 'Jom Makan' or 'Citarasa Malaysia' or stuff like that. Typical. Perut melayu, they call it. A day after I landed I was already hunting for my rice (fail!). Lucky for me, my awesome Azaliya brought me on a gastronomical journey (like literally! Especially for Azrin lol). Unlucky for me, there's no such thing as 'Australian Food'.

Ready?

Ok.

Korean BBQ

American Doughnuts

Koko Black

Williamtown's Fish and Chips

La Porchetta

Sofia

Vegan Bar (yeap, you heard right!)

Some breakfast place (that's half boiled eggs in the teeny cups)

Lindt Cafe

Fredo's Durian and Rocher

Lord of the Fries (damn, I'm healthy!)

Safari (Lamb and Steak mendy)

*gulp*

Stomach growling. I'm hungry.

*slowly moves cursor to little X*

Bye.

Flower Power

A little break from Aussie posts.

One stalk for every month we've been together.

You do the math. Hee. That was some heavy bouquet.

Happy 47th month anniversary, love.

He also got Mommy a little basket of daisies because she was in the hospital. I mean, how sweet is that?

*blush*

Melbourne Part 4: Out of the City

Honestly, I have the BEST tour guide in the world *points at Azaliya*. Not only she gave me a comfy bed to sleep in (let's not talk about her bed-hogging disease, shall we) she also brought me everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE. 2 pairs of my shoes were torn in the process ok, so yeah.

Blisters alert!

She brought me out of the city too! I went to so many suburbs with weird names, its crazy. I think I've seen 80% of Victoria.

1) Williamstown. Awesome fish and chips. Super chilled out.

2) Camberwell. Bloody cold. Flea market. People there love dogs.

3) Chadstone. Biggest shopping mall.

4) Harbourtown. I think this is in the city, but oh well. Windy like crazy.

5) Footscray. Victoria University. If I were to transfer to Aussie, this will be my campus. I'll pick Sunway in a second.

There's actually more, but I didnt take any pictures. See, told you she's awesome! If you need a tour guide, you should hire her. Cheap, too! Haha.

But in all seriousness, thanks Aja for having us there. It was super awesome and I hope I wasnt being too annoying with my suitcase taking over your room, taking 9 years to shower, whining about the coldness and everything else. So sorry if I was 'menyusahkan' and again, TENCHEWBERRYMOOCH!

No guys, this is not the last Melbourne post. Haha. Next post is going to make you cry. Hint: Dont read if you're fasting! Hee.
