Bangkung

Sarah and I went for a massage last week. I introduced hot stone massage to her and seriously, its the best type of massage.

I am very picky when it comes to massages because I have zero tolerence in pain so this is the perfecct massage for me. Feels so good during and after, you want to do it everyday. Hee. My massage lady kept burping in my face, I got offended at one point until she explained to me that all the burping was my 'angin' travelled into her. Woah, means the amount of 'angin' I have could probably fill in 20 lorry tyres.

It was our first time at that place so we had to call them a few times to ask for directions. The lady who was giving us directions on the phone was quite useless, she led us to brickfields! (its located in Bangsar) so we had to take matters in our own hands..

Me: La, what was the name of the jalan?
Sarah: I couldnt understand her, look for Jalan Bedengkur or something
Me: Are you sure? I think its Jalan Bedung
Sarah: If its Jalan Bedengkur, you owe me rm10
Me: Pfft. If its Jalan Bedung, you're paying for my massage

Never make me nor Sarah your walking GPS please.

Guitar Hero

Sofia made me walk from one end to another in OU to look for her anniversary present. Eight years, guys! Sofia and Hazren have been together for eight years! Of course my feet have to suffer for their love because she can't look for her present alone. Haha. You'll find out why...

So she wanted to buy him a guitar. Seriously, guitars are expensive! Thank god Azrin is not into this music stuff (I just need to buy him a plate of nasi lemak and he'll be happy. Save cost). Went to a few guitar stores and at one point we needed to "look for petunjuk" to decide on which one.....

Our way of "cari petunjuk". We got matching shoes! So cute, right? Hee.

Anyway, we decided on this one guitar (because the guys who were selling were such nice people). We did try to flirt our way to reduce the price, no go. But they did think we were sitting for SPM. Heh.

Sofia: Sha, what colour is the guitar
Guy selling the guitar: .................................
Me: Sorry bang. She's colour blind. Its yellow-ish, orange-ish

See, that was why she could'nt go alone. She would have given Hazren a pink guitar.

Happy anniversary guys! Semoga bahagia ke anak cucu cicit.

A Theory

Everyone has their own theory in just about anything in life, no?

For example, different people have different ways to get rid of hiccups. Well, mine is to drink water upside down. Works like a charm. Try it!

Had dinner with Sarah the other day, and right after we walked around looking for some stuff for her bunny.

Sarah: I dont feel so good. Why did you make me walk right after dinner.
Me: Dude, I cant sit after I eat. I'll puke.
Sarah: No. You cant walk right after you eat, the food will come back up. And out.
Me: Thats why you have to walk so the food will go down.
Sarah: This is why you had to remove your appendics.
Me: Thats why people remove their appendics :)

Seriously, I can't sit after I eat. I need to at least stand up. Is that normal? Which one is medically right? Theory A, or Theory B.

Whatchuthink?

Kampung Girl

My friends and family think I'm a spoilt city girl who only knows how to shop and put make up on. Pfft. Probably because i dont go hiking and chill by the waterfall with them. Double pfft.

Its only because one, its tiring and two, why would I want to be all sweaty when I can chill in my air-conditioned room watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians? Its called 'making smart choices'
Ok, maybe I'm a teeny bit spoilt.

Anyway, went back to Kedah last week to settle some family stuff and I'm proving all of y'all wrong because I did embrace the heat and walked around a ladang.

Learnt a lot about rubber trees (bet you dont know what a 'healthy' rubber tree looks like) from my Aunt. It was hot like Adriana Lima's body, I was going to faint. They need to install some sort of fan under those trees.

Hah! See I didnt run or scream when I saw ulats, red ants, dogs or spiders *flips hair*. I was way behind the others and was complaining the way though. Baby steps, guys.

I miss chilling in a kampung. When I was little I would run around the kebun, climb on trees, eating durian on the patio. Oh memories. See I can recognize a rambutan tree, a mango tree and a durian tree in a second. Heh.

Younger Days

I was cleaning up mommy's stuff and I found some things worth sharing.

Mommy kept Abang's, Abah's and of course my picture in her purse (so schweet!). I was laughing so hard the neighbour probably thought there was a crazy person in my house.

My father and his gangster look.

More like a hindustan hero's father than an arab, dont you think?

Oh and look at this cute little girl...!

My signature helmet hair.

Saving the best for last....

HAHAHAHA!!!

Me: Abang, u looked like e AnW bear.
SIL: Thank god you didnt look like that when I met you.
Abang: Hoi!!

Late Birthday Gift

Bought two tickets for Tun Dr Siti Hasmah theatre as a surprise birthday treat for Azrin a few months ago but they postponed the show and we only got to watch it yesterday.

Told Azrin that he might need to bring binoculars because I got the cheapest ticket and that we'll be sitting way up. Had to hide the tickets from him the whole night and.....

Surprise! Our sit was in the second row (only because the front row was left empty). We were so close to the stage, we could reach out and touch Lisa Surihani's toes. Haha.

The show was pretty boring and weird at first, because there were random dancing and singing (like Siti Hasmah's character would be crying and a second later everyone came in and started dancing -___-). After about half an hour, no more dancing around for no reason and it was amazeballs! Oh and Mahathir's character when he was young....so hot!! *drool*.

The main characters were speaking in a nothern accent, so Azrin and I could understand every 'hingaq', 'habaq', 'ketegaq' they were saying while some of them looked like they had birds chirping in their head. Proud to be part Kedah-ian. The show was really good, touching with a hint of humour.

Happy belated birthday, love! Hope you had fun :)

HAHA.

30 Minutes of Blindness

Broke my glasses couple of months ago, got myself a new one just now.

"Before we test your eyes, you've gotta take your contacts off for half an hour"

"I'll be blind!!"

Azrin offered to hold my hand and walk around for half an hour. Well, he was just laughing at me and making faces because I can't see.

I wanted Auntie Anne's so he was buying and asked me to go sit. I walked to the seating area and went back to Azrin.

"Why? Go seat lah!"

"I can't see, what if I sit and there's actually someone sitting there already?"

.............................

So hard not being able to see. I was squiting for half an hour (invitation for eye wrinkles, thank you).

My power has gone up to 700! Aiyoh, I should start eating carrots. Just kepit my nose and swallow (eww!)

Two Babies

Before heading to work, Azrin usually comes over to lepak with little Sofia and I and I swear, its like taking care of two little toddlers.

I'll be talking to him and a second later when I turn around, poof! gone.

Pointless.

Sometimes it melts my heart. So comel ok. Hee.

In the evening, we'll bring her to the playground because she'll stand near the door with my car keys and shout "Jom!!"

Ok lah, somebody's ready to be a papa *hint*

Syiok sendiri hahaha.

As for me, all I did was hide under a tree with a piece of paper to fan myself. Youngest child syndrome.

Pink Rice

Sofia and I were heading back to Damansara from Sunway but oh dear god, the traffic! Horrible! Federal Highway, LDP, NPE, NKVE all crazy. We decided to stop for some snacks (haha more like a meal!) to let the traffic chill a little.

Decided to try this new place called Kelantan Delights in Subang. I was already imagining Nasi Dagang (see, our "snack") while cursing at the traffic (seriously so freaking jam!).

Sofia had Nasi Kerabu. Looks amazeballs!

Sofia : Sha, try some..
Me: No thanks, I dont eat Nasi Kerabu
Sofia: Omg its delicious! Try lah!!
Me: I don't eat lah.
Sofia: Sheesh. Why?? Its cuz its PINK right?!?!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Everyone should have at least one friend who's colour blind, I swear!

Anywho, the food was so good, guys! The Pulut Durian, I tell you.......*died*

Oh, met my schoolmate back in Cempaka *hi!!!*

Next time, must try Laksam.
