First Experience

I know nothing about football. I just don't see the point. So while people argue about Arsenal, MU, Liverpool and what not, I was busy flipping a magazine.

But one thing I am, I would do anything for my country. As much as people thing its funner, more happening, cooler, colder elsewhere, my heart belongs here. If you're a Malaysian, try having that 'eww omg what's wrong wit this country' conversation with me. It will end up nasty.

I do follow malaysian football, sometimes. I mean, I watched the suzuki cup that got us a public holiday, I watched the games versus the big clubs recently, and I thought our football team have come a long way. They did pretty awesome. I watched how our ass got kicked in Singapore and group texted my friends:

"Let's go to the football match on Thursday"

...of course, knowing it was from me, I did not get a reply straight away. They probably thought I was kidnapped or something.

Lala : What football match? There's a football match. Let's buy matching jerseys!!

Ah, birds of a feather....

Sofia, Sarah and I was heading to Bukit Jalil. C'mon, it was our first time, how would we know that people goes to the stadium at 2pm when the match was at 8.45pm? I mean, it was 6.30 and we were all still putting on make up (ok, blonde moment.we did'nt know that it was going to be that hot and pretty pointless to wear make up).

We did not know if we should take the LRT or drive there. We decided to take the LRT. Big mistake. A friend drove and reached way before us. The LRT was so packed, we did not have to hold on to the pole because there was no way we were going to fall even if the bloody LRT topple over. Yes, there was so much walking and running needed I was sweating cats and dogs. I bet I burned as much calories as Safee. Ok, maybe as much as the coach.heh. What was fun was that at one point everyone started singing and stuff and I got super excited in that damn cramped up LRT.

Yes, we got trashed, but it was worth it. I lost my voice for a couple of days, but honestly, its so much funner than watching at home with Dad and his keropok. I looked around and thought this is one way to get all of us Malaysians, no matter what race, religion, which state you're from together and support one thing. So freaking awesome!

You know they say, watching live football is addictive? Maybe next time I'll bring a portable air-cond.

Woof

Went out of the house this afternoon and saw a dead puppy in the middle of the road.

That puppy was quite a topic on my street today. Some idiot ran over the little puppy (seriously, its a housing area with a million speed bumps and still can't slow down and avoid a little puppy!) and didnt even bother helping that poor little thing and just left him in the middle of the road. When we all knew about him, he was already dead (no movement, no sound, nothing).

A few hours later, a female dog, which I assume was his mother came and sniff around the little puppy and she looked like she was crying (I was watching from my garden). A tear came down my cheek. Suddenly the little puppy let out a tiny sound to his mommy. OMG he's alive!! A few guys waws trying to pick the puppy up and send him to the vet, now that he's alive. But mummy dog was being super protective. Few minutes after that, the puppy died for real.

*cry*

Since evening, mommy dog was sniffing around the neighbourhood, looking for her child. Omg its so sad, I tell you. She really follows whatever that passes by her and she get so dissapointed when its not her puppy. Now, she's just lying down in front of my neighbour's house hoping she would get to see her little puppy again.

*double cry*

A dog loves her child like that. Some people can't love their children half as much as that dog does. We have akal, how come we sometimes find humans act worse then animals. Maybe this is what happens when you live your life based on lust, money, power with minimal iman.

The Rest of the Story

The Penang story is so basi, that even my sun-kissed tan is going away. I'll just sum up what we did and where we went. Oh, btw, why is there still sand everywhere?omg.

Some of us took the flight to Penang while the boys drove and joined us up north. So my flight was the last one, reached the airport, and met the rest in Gurney. Our table was filled with food- oyster, laksa, char kuey tiow, rojak, sotong bakar, otak-otak, sotong kangkung *exhale*.

That night we were all just chilling in a room..

The next few days, was all food, food, food. Nasi kandar beratur, line clear, hamideeyah, cendol, mee bangkok lane. Literally felt heavier in that 2 days *throws weighing scale away*

Last, but not least, Chocolate Boutique. Came home, and Dad assume all chocolates was for him. He finished up my yummy Tiramisu chocolate. Did'nt even get to snap a picture of it. Next time, must hide all chocolates under bed.

All in all, good fun in Penang. Maybe I would lay off Penang for a little while. Next stop..... *waves at Azaliya!!*

heh.

Sarah Caked

Sarah turned 23 on Monday.

So we had nothing much plan, just the usual- Sofia's house, cake, birthday girl comes in the door, and surprise. Unfortunately, I stepped out of the lift, carrying the cake, found birthday girl squatting on the floor by the lift smiling to herself.

Now, that might be a weird image in your head now, but to us, its Sarah. Pretty normal. Wait till you find her melatah for a couple minutes in Tamil.Seriously. So thank god she just decided to squat by the lift on her birthday. You see the kind of people I accept to be my friend. Charity, charity..

I Love You Makcik!! *hugs and pull curly hair*

Anyway, so she kind of spoilt the whole surprise thing (yeah, and I was the party pooper on my birthday pfft). We all just chilled, and talk, and watched the news (ngawh, all grown up now). Then, out comes the cake..

Sofia and I was talking to throw eggs and flour at her. You see, none of us ever had ourselves egg-ed and flour-ed. Unwritten rule, which I wanted to break, which means, on each of our birthday, you know karma will come back and bite you in the nuts.hee. But Sarah looked all glowy and shiny in her new birthday clothes and she was going for dinner and stuff, so maybe no egg, no flour (we gave hints for her to change but she would'nt).

We were all leaving and hugging our goodbyes...

Idzmil: Haaaaapy Biiiirttthday Lala!! *hugs*.

*PLOP*

Everyone : *OH.MY.GOD.*

Gotta be hard to get those egg of them curls. I mean, Idzmil started something there..so I though, meh since she's already eggy..

Me : Po, give me some eggs!! I wanna do it too!
Sofia : That was my last egg.
Me : Flour?
Sofia : Nope.
Me : ..................

Dammit.

She was out of the toilet, all wet and clean..
Me : Happy Birthday Makcik!! ILY!!
Sarah : Awww..thanks sh...

*PLOP*

No eggs? I give her cake!!!

Happy Birthday Makcik! Have fun in Perhentian!! Don't get nobody pee on you again ok. Come back and we'll have our pampering session.hee.

Just so you know, my birthday next year, I won't be here ok. So friends, go away!!

Deja Vu

One thing I learn from the Penang trip- Never take a flight with Sofia and Sarah ever again.

Our last day in Penang, we checked out of the hotel at 1pm, and our flight was at 10pm. So much time in between right? Of course we were late.

Deja Vu. A few years back, the three of us went to Langkawi. Almost the same situation with the whole checked out, so much time before flight, ended up late, gate was closed, had to beg, cry, flirt with the counter lady (she was so not impressed pfft), and we managed to fly back. If we actually missed the flight, we would probably have to swim home because we had about 10 buckaroos each *looks at luggage filled with shopping stuff*. Oops.

So yeah, this time, after checking out, we were driving aimlessly around Penang. Sofia found us an awesome spot to chill until our flight.

Seriously, a chill out place ON the beach. Like under the coconut trees and literally stepping on sand kind. Woot. Plus great view of the beach. Until that one dog that looked crazy was wandering around *shivers*.

Now what's missing in the picture here?

Yea, we were really getting into the aloha mood. Even for rm7 for a teeny tiny cocunut. I mean the cocunut was just hanging on the tree above our heads. If only I could make Sarah climb up and get us damn cocunuts.

Heh.

Than, we were playing cards. A little too much, because at 7pm, we were still "Last 5 game". Than "Last 2 game". Than, "Wait, lets finish the cocunut first".

We got hungry, and wanted to look for food. Heard there was an awesome Roti something, somewhere. We were suppose to give the car back at 8pm. At 8, we were still trying to find that roti shop. Fail. It was so effing jam for no reason to the airport, we reached at about 9-ish.

Right.On.Time.

Never ever leave Sarah, Sofia and I with flight tickets.Ever.

White and Pink

Guess who and what showed up at my front door?

White roses are my favourite, by the way.

I also have a thing with flowers given in a vase. Maybe because I dont have to water it or look for a vase. All I need to do is stare at it and plan my wedding.hee.

Isn't he a keeper?

Yes?

No?

You've Guessed It

I'm back, and I must say I really miss super tall buildings and land, in general.

Oh how I miss, nasi campur, tomyam, kuah lemak,

Went for a short holiday, to, yes you've guess it, Penang! Friends, we've gotta start being creative and go somewhere else, ok. You know you've been there a little too many times when you don't need a map to go here and there.

This time, we all flew to Penang. Weird, because the group was divided to 3 different flights. Poor Sarah had to fly alone on the second flight. Bet she had to hold some stranger's arm during landing.

Firefly is probably the scariest airplane I've been on.Ever. It's really teeny with two non-promising propeller that my fan looks more dependable. When you're up there, one hell of a bumpy ride. Thank god it was only an hour flight. My flight back to KL was better, probably because the pilot reallly needed to go to the loo or something that it took us half an hour.

*cringe*

Anyway, I am back, all set to take over the world. Classes starting on Monday. Wish me luck on this final journey in Uni. I will write more about Penang.Soon. A bit jetlagged for now HAHAHA.

Quickie

As y'all must have seen me bitching, whining, complaining, crying that my phone sort of died in the accident. Yes, I can't function without my Blackberry. I mean, hello, switching on laptop, THAN check email, pfft. Have I told you how pointless it is to twit on the website.

That.Was.It.

I was comtemplating between the berry and the apple. Thanks for all your feedbacks. I realised you people are really leaning more towards Apple than them Berries.

Backstabbers.

At Maxis..

"Ok, I'll take this one"

Its white, by the way. Got home, knock myself in the head. I don't even own any white tops, because it'll turn yellow in 5 seconds. Of course, I was eating Cheezels, and someone texted me, and I think we all know where this story is going, huh *slaps forehead*.

...on a less depressing note, I PASSED MY PAPERS!! Oh yeah. One more, ONE more sem and I'm DONE *shivers*.

New phone, checked.
Results, checked.

I'll be going on a short trip tomorrow!! Seriously, I deserve this.

See you on thursday people.

Oh, oh, guess where I'm off too. If you've been reading my blog since Day 1, you probably know.

"Ish, dia ni takde tempat lain ke nak pergi holiday"

"Biar lah!!"

That Accident Story

If you're my friend on FB or if you're following me on Twitter, y'all must've known bout my not so little accident.

I was on the way back from Lumut, with my parents and cousin. I was driving, and before I knew it I heard a loud screech and bang boom doosh. Looked into my rear view mirror and saw the back of my car crashing right before my eyes. I tried to take control of the car with steering, braking everything but for the next 3 to 4 minutes was just a big blur because those damn pink airbags were in my face. What was on my mind was God, my family, and I was trying to think hard if my last meal was a good one, you know, before i go.

After many kind of sound that keeps replay-ing in my head until now, there was that one last, biggest, loudest BANG and i started seeing smoke and could smell something burning. I heard voices coming towards us. I looked on my left, Mom's head was at the window and both her legs was on me. She looked like she could not move.

"Ma, open your door. Ma! MA!!!"

"I.Can't.Move"

I was stuck and could not take my seat belt off. My door was stuck too. More smoke could be seen. Adrenaline kicked in, I snapped the seat belt, kicked the door hard, got out of the car. I was about to blackout when I stepped out of the car, until I saw Mom, and single-handedly pulled her out from the driver's side and put her in a wheelchair while strangers helped her to the side of the highway.

It took me a good minute to register everything. My head was spinning like crazy and my chest was burning. I saw Dad and Shafiqah got out of the car. Phew. Everyone's safe. Alhamdulillah.

There was so many little pieces of glass on us that we were starting to look like the Cullens in the sun.Sparkly.

... I can't be showing pictures, due to, err, something. But between you and I, here's a teeny sneak peak ok.

Went to the hospital to do xray's and stuff. Glad everyone's fine. Just some stitches here and there for Mom, something minor with Dad's ribs. But all of us are so freaking bruised now, i could not even get up without help.

Alhamdulillah, everyone's safe.and alive. Thank you, god.
