Food Fest

I'm sorry that all my posts for this month is about birthdays.

Well for this post, the birthday I've been waiting for the whole year....

Mine!! *dances*

I shall talk about how I feel being 18 (tee hee) and all that some other time since I'm still celebrating. Had to work on my birthday so my makan-makan celebration was a day after.

1. Seafood with Family.

Delicious. Ate so much, I was falling asleep heading home.

Thanks for lunch, Els!

2. Sushi with Friends.

Rais having his "Collagen Ice Cream" -___-'

We stayed in Sakae until the waiter gave us a couple of hints to get out. So at last he handed the bill to Sofia to check if the amount of coloured plate is correct.

Sofia : "Err..guys I can't check...I'm colour blind"

While everyone else felt bad, Sarah and I laughed so hard I swear a little pee came out. Endless supply of colour blind jokes. We love you to death, Po!

Oh! Oh! We know if Sofia is having a girl or a boy!!!! Excited!

Thanks for dinner, Rais. Po, you still owe me dinner. Nobu, ok?

A Little Early

Ruben's birthday is a week before mine so we had a little dinner night out last week to celebrate our birthdays. Picked this cafe near our office, unfortunately food not that good. Almost everything on the menu was not available.

Andrea : Haih, let's go to that place across the street

Lols. No we didn't. Ordered whatever they could cook for us, sat and chit chat.

We played Jenga while eating. Genius since every time the damn blocks crumble, it would fall in mine and Ana's food.

Chilling with these bunch of goons in the office everyday, to be honest, makes me feel younger. We each have different character, interest and personality but I love how we click. Love.

Happy birthday Rubs! and me :) Soon.

Twenty Something

It was Sofia's birthday and I promised her a dinner treat. She was craving for pasta so birthday girl picked a place in Bangsar. Planned to meet up there after work. I was a tad late because I just got back from a funeral and was stuck in traffic, so I kept pregnant birthday girl hungry for a while. When I got there, she was chomping down biscuits. Oops.

Talked and laughed for a couple hours. Kinda nice after a stressful day.

"I was in the train the other day, and this person offered me his seat. First time I was not offended. I am actually pregnant!"

"You guys look so fake in the picture. Again!"

Well I was getting sleepy and it was not even 10pm yet. Lol.

Happy luckytwentyeight Birthday Makcik!!!!

As were were walking out to our cars, I was rubbing her tummy, hoping to feel a kick or something....

"Makcik! That's food, not my baby"

Frozen Four

Little Pei's birthday party - she wanted to be Elsa. Thank god 'Let it go' was not played on repeat.

Food. Borak. Games.

I actually organized a little game of charades for adults but the 'senior citizens' were dozing asleep after all the food and cakes. Haha. Charades, cancelled.

After the older people went back home, us "teenagers" stayed a little while more to have our own little fun.

"You guys ni tak puas jadi budak ke dulu?"

"Kami berjiwa muda"

Happy Birthday Fa! We love you! Maybe one day when you can read and discover Aunty Adik's blog, you'll know how much we hearts you and what we did to celebrate your little birthday. When you read this, come bring us all a jar of cookies or something ok? Muah!

Games Committee

Today is Little Pei's 4th birthday.

Her parents were planning a little party for her at their house. I have been thinking on what to buy for her present....for weeks!

It is not something easy to figure out especially when their house is already like Toys R us.

"Els, y don't Sally, Bobo and I figure out the games and gifts for the party and that will be our present to Fa?"

Next time, think before you say something, Sharifah! Who knew party planning is so tiring?! Respect.

Games Committee :

Preparation : Planning, shopping, shredding papers, blowing balloons, lots of cutting, wrapping gifts....and the worst part - stuffing in the damn shredded papers in the balloons!

Game 1 - Pop the balloons.

Kids have to pop all the balloons and find one special piece of paper through the shredded paper. The one who finds the paper, wins!

After all the balloons were popped, they still couldn't find the "paper" (it was right there in front if them!) but my father picked it up and gave to Little Pei -____-'

Party Pooper.

Game 2 - Chopsticks

The kids have to transfer 15 raisins from one plate to another...using chopsticks! First one to complete, wins!

This was super cute and fun!

Game 3 - Musical Chair

A must-have at any kid's party, no?

Game 4 - Pass the Parcel

Pass around the gift. When the music stops, the holder will unwrap a layer. Goes on until all layers are gone. Last holder wins.

*clap clap*

I hope the kids had fun and the adults enjoyed watching the kids!

Two down

Sarah.

First time I saw her in high school, I hated her. After a while, we talked, became friends, became close and she just started followed me everywhere. Haha. We went to the same college, lepak-ed every single day, met Sofia and grew up together.

Knowing her for 10 years, I must say she have seen me when I was up, down, crying, laughing, everything. Going to her house almost everyday and locking ourselves in her room - her family must have thought we were together together. She even introduced Azrin to me.

I would love to put up pictures of us 10 years ago but I don't think I should since we looked like there should be a pole with us in the picture with our mini skirts and net-stokings while my girl is looking beautiful in her hijab now, alhamdulillah.

Also....

She's getting married!!!

I have seen you looking for the right one for 10 years, makcik and I'm so glad you have found your prince charming! You've always wanted to follow me to my honeymoon...looks like I'll be tagging along to yours first ay *puts on big hat and sunnies*

Congratulations Lalat!

**Rais, if you hurt her, I will whack you with a periuk.
