HK Trip- Touristy Stuff

It was just a short trip for us but I guess we went to all the "Must Go" places except for Disneyland (because you know how Azrin is scared of all those shannanigs and it would be a waste of time). My opinion, it was super easy to travel around HK because one, their MTR system is super super efficient and they have stations everywhere! You don't need to take a cab or rent a car to go around. Two, it was super easy to talk/ask things around as almost everyone speak english. Phew. All signboards were in english. Compared to Japan, so much easier to travel around in HK. We didn't even need google *flips hair*.

1. Victoria Habour & Symphony of Lights
Here we could see an amazing view of the other side of HK and at night they have light show with all the buildings. We were there early, walked around and waited for the light show at 8pm. Gorgeous.

2. The Peak/Sky Terrace 360
We went up to this really high spot where you can see everything. Had to take this old school tram up, needed to wait about two hours to buy the tickets (if you plan to go, please buy the tickets online before even flying to HK). It was already evening by the time we got up there, super windy. We thought it was windy because we were so high up, little did we know it was a sign that a second typhoon was coming. Azrin is afraid of height and he was getting a panic attack up there, so I had to calm him down, deal with the wind, deal the number of people pushing others to take pictures, so we didn't really spend a lot of time up there. As we were waiting for the tram to go back down, things were starting to fly around, Azrin had to hold on to me (see, its good to have a chubby wife, huh?) and everyone were freaking out because they don't want to get stuck up there because if the typhoon were to get worse, they could not operate the tram to send us back down.

3. Madame Tussauds
This was one of the reason I wanted to go to HK. I mean...Koo Tin Lok, hello! Its ok if I can't meet him in real life, meet his patung also can. I was grinning away as we were walking in and Azrin said "Yes yes, you'll meet your Koo Tin Lok soon, sheesh!". Love. That photo shall is by my bedside now. Well, Azrin was this close to taking Maria Sharapova back home with him so I guess we're fair. Haha. I was expecting the place to be filled with people and you have to wait hours to take picture with each "celebrity" but surprisingly it was not too bad. Just about one minute wait. Lots of fun!

Other than that we went to all sorts of street markets, randomly went to places we thought looked cool (not knowing what it was) and just walk around.

...that's it for my HK trip. Where to next?
