Sarah randomly invited me to teman her sleep in Marriot, Bukit Bintang last week (actually it was suppose to be her 'alone time', I invited my self. and Sofia). Realised we were old because we checked in at 11pm and were already sleepy.
I tell you, if it was 5 years ago..........oh dear.
Sofia: Lets dress up and go out!
Me: Dude, I only brought t-shirt and baju tidur.
Sarah: I want to sleep.
Me: Oh! Lets go for those manicure/pedicure/reflexology thing downstairs.
Sofia: Those places where they have catalogues of girls???
Me: Hoi!! Not those la!
Sarah: Sleepy
Of course, at last we all stayed in.
Wanted to order room service...
Sofia: Errrr guys....
Me: Pricey?
Sarah: No charging to the room. Pay yourself.
Me: I have 10 bucks. Whats cheap?
Sofia: Sandwich. 30 bucks.
Aaaaaaaah McDonalds.
It was fun, just talking all night. Since I started working, I hardly see them both and dont know whats going on with their life so to have that kinda night was pretty good. Although Sarah went to sleep at midnight and it was just Sofia and talking till 4am.
Note to self: Next time have at least some cash with you when you check in hotels (in my defense, it was a last minute thing)
Me: Eh!! Where's the peanuts?!
Sarah: I took it. Free what!
Sofia: Your head! Its 20 bucks.
Uh-oh.
Not too late to wish y'all Selamat Hari Raya, right? My raya this year was just ok (somehow quite a number of people said so too). I guess we enjoy raya most when we were little, huh? This year was also no fun for me because I had to start giving duit raya to people (although Dad did give me duit raya more than what I gave people. Fail.)
Usually, I celebrate raya in Johor but this is the 2nd year I raya here, partly because I want to visit Mama's kubur.
It was quite a meriah raya for me, relatives coming by, us going to their places, the usual.
I present to u...my familia.
Topic for this year: When's the wedding date.
Me: Next month.
HUH?!?!
Haha. Well, I was just giving what they wanted to hear.
Selamat Hari Raya guys! Eat till yo button pops!
For my last 23 Rayas, I spent the night before raya snoring away, right up till the morning of raya. Even then, I wake up with all food prepared and served. Spoilt princess, I was. Hee.
This year, first raya without mama (hope you're having an amazeballs raya up there, Ma!) so being the 'anak dara' in the house..... nope, no more sleeping in. Dad made Abang, Elisa and I go to war in the kitchen, preparing raya food.
HOW DID MAMA PREPARE EVERYTHING WITHOUT GETTING ANYTHING OUT OF PLACE?!
Magic I tell you.
Thank god I had a teeny bit of Mom's OCD in me (just a bit, I dont enjoy cleaning) so Elisa and I cleaned up (the other one that can diharap).
Ta-daaaa!!!
All ready for Raya (slept at 3am, btw). Selamat Hari Raya guys! Maaf Zahir dan Batin. Have a lovely Raya :)
It was past midnight, Azrin and I were on our way to pick Sarah up to go for drinks and at this traffic light in TTDI, this car in front of us was not moving even when the light have gone from red to green to red to green again. Azrin drove around, cursing and honking.
Me: OMG BABY! HE'S HEAD IS ON THE STEERING!!!!!
Turned back to see if he's ok. I mean, he might be dead, right? And its freaking dangerous, hello! I called the ambulance and what not (seriously they never pick up when calling the emergency number -____-'). Got to his car, turns out this dude was pissed drunk and passed out. While driving. Haiyo.
Yes, fine I dont drink and some people would just go screw it, it's his fault for drinking and driving but Azrin and I are the kind of people that would help anyone, anytime. You never know when its your time that you might need help from others, right? A couple of policemen came after and Azrin and I helped them wake this dude up. He did wake up after 20 mins. Smells of alcohol, I almost puked. Eek.
One thing I realised, its so hard for Malaysian to help strangers. People who passed by did not only honked and got all pissed off at the car, they even cursed me! Like its my fault! Jeez. So damn annoying.
Friday was a weird day for me. Went to work as usual in the morning, and afternoon came, everything turned into a big blur. Until now.
Around 3-ish, I woke up from my office table, confused.
"What the hell is going on...?"
Suddenly my officemates were all around me, ambulance was outside and worse part was, I could not recognize anyone. I checked my phone, got a few texts from Azrin, Shafiqah but I was just staring at the messages not knowing who they were.
Got into the ambulance, trying to process what was going on, realised I blacked out in the office. Later on, I found out I even had seizure before passing out Creepy!
Went to the hospital, ran some tests, apparently my kidneys were infected and my heart was beating a bit too fast for no bloody reason. Probably because I had a stupid doctor.
Me: Both my kidneys infected?
Doctor: Kidneys lah!! You know, kidneys!
Me: Yes, both, IS IT?
Doctor: Eh, kidneys lah. What u mean both?!?!
I was already in such a confused state, this woman got me thinking human have one kidney. We have two, right? RIGHT?
Bottom line, I dont know what was the cause of me passing out, because if I had one more conversation with that lady, I would probably have a heart attack. Now both my thighs hurt, I dont know why either.
Should go to a proper hospital and get it checked, right? I will. Soon. Hee. Thanks everyone who called asking if I was ok. Hugs!
Last minute plan to Melaka on Saturday, bringing Azrin's employees because they've never been to Melaka and one of them really wants to see what a 'beca' looks like.
I can say that I'm quite familiar with Melaka, with the occasional sesat-ing haha. So Azrin and I showed them around and they saw that River Cruise thing and wanted to go on it.
Uh........
Ive seen it many times and I swore I would never go on it, because its so pointless and smells bad.
Yes. I went on that thing.
Actually it was not bad at all. There was all these paintings on the back of the buildings which potrays Hang Tuah's story so as you go on, it tells a story. It was beautiful (sorry, I didnt bring my camera, so no pictures). It was really nice, with people waving and saying hello to you while you cruise by and honestly it smelled bad only in one area.
Lesson learnt. Don't judge.
Everytime I need something from my brother, I would use one line..
"..but but I'm your favourite sister.."
"You're my only sister. Do I look like I have a choice"
........................
Look what I found on his FB
NGAAAWHHHHHHH.
Ngeh worth a shot.
A few friends and I were at Sofia's house on Friday night when Azrin got a call at about 2 am. His petrol station got robbed. I decided to follow him even though I was already dreaming of my fluffy pillows, but I've got to chase for that 'best girlfriend' award right?
We reached the station and saw so many people, we had to park across the road.
Apparently the robber was inside when the police and other people came. Thought he climbed up the ceiling and hide. He must have gotten in through the ceiling as well because there were holes everywhere (some spiderman shits there!).
At least 100 people guarded around the outside while the rest of us was searching for him inside. Sometimes we hear noises and footsteps from the ceiling, but he's nowhere to be found! Creepy. Stupid thing was, he did not take any money (which was right there in the drawer) but all he did was cut off the CCTV and took the monitor with him.
Everyone was looking for this dude from 1.30 am (when the alarm rang) right up till 7 am (when I went home) and he's still not found. Magic! We decided to spray Shieldtox in all the holes in the ceiling and blast the aircond hoping he would choke and jump out, or die.
*cricket*
No. Nada.
Azrin and I gave up. We were too sleepy and tired, so we went home. Its really scary and they say people would go cray especially with the festive season coming. Looking for duit raya, I'm guessing. Be safe guys!!
Most of my friends' birthdays are in the earlier months of the year. Except one, Sarah. Few days ago was her birthday so usually by the time its her turn, we'll all be bored and broke by so no big celebration. But this time, she was coming back from Singapore a day before her birthday so Sofia and I was planning to surprise her.
Her first surprise. Ever. Sarah, if that aint love from Sofia and I, I dont know what is..
Its still the last birthday of the year, so nothing big. Surprising her at her own house. Haha.
So Azrin and I bought food, sent it to her house and when to pick her up at the airport. In the meantime, Sofia was at her house blowing as many balloons as she can (about 5, btw!) and preparing for the surprise.
I was almost an hour late to pick her up (stupid traffic!). Oops.
Me: Makcik, I'm tired lah, we'll just eat dekat that restaurant near your house lah k.
Sarah: Err....Ok....*fell asleep*
As we were approaching Damansara Heights...
Me: Makcik, its cold, I really need to pee. Can we go your house sekejap? I need to pee....
Sarah: Yea, sure (because everyone knows I dont use public toilets. Bingo!)
*me texting everyone to hide their cars and shoes*
SURPRISE!!!!
No, these girls were not cooking. See how many people we need to heat up a pot of food. Fail.
Its not Sarah's birthday if she's not thrown into the pool.
Freaking 3 times! The first time we almost got her head knocked on the pool wall, we were all just shocked hoping no blood/body would be floating after a minute.
Oops.
Anyway, Happy Birthday Bestie!! Dah, satu je surprise. Jangan mengada nak every year. Leviu!
Azrin and I turned 54 months last weekend. Yes, we celebrate every 12th. Now we have another couple to celebrate with. Jonathan and Fara. Their monthersary is every 12th too. So last weekend, they turned 2! Ngawh.
Double date.
Went for this Japanese/Korean BBQ thing in KL. It was fun and delicious but i did not dress up and pay that much to cook my own food, really. Having a boyfriend who does not even know how to boil water surely not helping. Thank go Fara is a chef. Hee.
There were all sorts of meat- lamb, beef, chicken, ostrich and a million types of fish. Delicious! Fara and Azrin ate tongue! EEW.
"You guys, its like french kissing a cow...."
Nasty.
We could'nt move afterwards, but whats an anniversary without cake, no? We crawled our way down to Alexis for some dessert (we had ice cream at the restaurant already -____-')
Had to seat outside, hot, dark (no lights!). Just because we didnt pay cover charge, they did not give us electricity. Even had to share spoon. Boo!
I had so much fun. Happy Anniversary guys. Next, we'll head for a holiday ok? Hee.
Hi guys! Its 4.37 am and I just got back from Sofia's house. Stupid smile on my face because it felt like back in uni days. Come home in the morning, sleep till the afternoon. Oh, good times.
I miss it! I really do!
Gamble, gossip, order food, just chill, not caring about life, and money. Fun times.
Ok, maybe the smile is also because I won big just now. HAHAHA. Ngee.
I'm not even sleepy, but I know I have a lot of things to do tomorrow. Good luck with that!
Shall wait for Subuh and go to sleep. Somebody please wake me up at 10. Call me, ring the doorbell, get Justin Bieber to sing in my room, anything. Thanks.
Good night.
My father and brother is crazy about tennis. They're pretty good at it, too. Sometimes I think I dont have the same genes with them because I suck in tennis. A few people tried teaching me tennis since I was young, they all gave up and would rather teach rabbits.
Sucks more because I like watching tennis. Its interesting. I know quite a lot about tennis and the players but I just cant seem to hit that damn yellow ball.
Yesterday, abang and Azrin took me out, trying to teach me tennis. Again. (Urgh, even my boyfriend is good in tennis). Boo!! *looks at hand, shakes head*
Got a bit better (at least I hit the ball a few times, though it kept going over the court and in the drain -___-') but not much difference. I gave up, halfway. Started googling on places to eat.
Now that, I'm amazeballs at.
Beginning to accept I'm no Sharapova. Whatever, I'll stick to badminton.
