Melbourne Part 1: Mount Dandenong

It was a perfect day to do tourist stuff. Not too windy, not too sunny. Azaliya brought us uphill where we can see the whole of Melbourne apparently. Such lies, I could only see little dots of buildings pfft.

Even with this ridiculously heavy binocular thing, all I could see are bigger dots of things. Haha. But if you close your eyes and imagine you can see a clear view of the world below you, it'll be pretty awesome.

Walked around, they have little gardens, a maze (which was freaking closed!) and weird things you can take picture with. Very alice in wonderland, actually. Felt lile a little kid again.

On the way down, we got a little lost (despite having a GPS, iPad, iPhone and 2 Blackberries, major FAIL!!) but after 20 wrong turn and 65 illegal u-turns, we made it to a little pie shop, Pie in the Sky.

Pies take-away because we were still full, and since it was pretty sunny day, it would just be awesome to go have lunch at the beach, no?

I have no freaking idea what beach this is. Blame it on my bad tour guide, Azaliya for not having a little brochure or those microphone-speaker thing, pfft. There are this pretty, colourful huts on the beach. I was not dressed for the beach, plus it was so hot I didnt make it to the last hut.

Thank god for AWESOME rendang pie, y'all!

Seriously, so sedap!

Kuala Lumpur

Sorry guys, I have gone missing for sometime now. Here's a good news.

I AM BACK! I'm sick though. Probably because it was super cold when I arrived in Melbourne, then it got real summer-y my last 2 days there (I'm tanned and I didnt even go to the beach) and when I touched down in KL, oh dear god I was sweating all the way home.

Food on the flight this time was a bit dissapointing, though. At least serve some Nasi Lemak for breakfast, lah!

And here I am now with things dripping down my Rudolph nose. Attractive. It is good to be home, though. Mom welcomed me with my favourite Asam Pedas but I bet its because she wants the things she ordered for me to get her. Hee.

You'll probably be sick of my next 50 posts on Melbourne. I'll try to sum it up and make it as short as possible ok. Also, now the job-hunting begins. Anybody wants to hire me? I make good coffee! Haha. Wish me luck people.

Conned

Hi guys! Have y'all guess where I'm at yet? If you follow me on twitter you're disqualified haha.

I hate flying. Hate! Especially landing. I always thought that even if you're in First class or Business class, if it crashes, it crashes, dude. Thank god for yummy food.

...but, no flight would be perfect without...

7-hour-flight, Glee movie, The Smurfs, Princess and the Frog and a couple of Big Bang Theory later..

Hello, Melbourne.

Hello from Down under! Honestly, I feel conned. All this thing about summer in Aussie is hotter than KL, and the last time I was here it was autumn and it was not that cold. So here I was with my big sunglasses, sunblock, summer clothes ready to take the Aussie sun...

It's freaking 18 degrees! AND RAINING!!!

Can't really wear anything I brought. Been borrowing Azaliya's clothes.

Mrs Ong

Last minute plan, but we decided to watch Syria vs Malaysia game live, because our Tigers did awesome in SEA Games Finals. Congratulations again!

I'm starting to love watching football at the stadium. I mean, its right there! haha. With all the pumped up supporters, whatever race, religion, age, sex you are, we were all there to do one thing. To support our country. In fact, there were quite a number of 'mat sallehs' head to toe in black and yellow. Semangat, man. I call them 'Harimau Celup'. You'll feel so semangat its crazy! Like super patriotic.

At least when Syria's national anthem was playing, us Malaysians stood up and was in silence because we respect our opponent, unlike some neighbour of ours. heh. So proud of us.

Sofia: Is Syria in Asia?
Me: Err. They don't look Asian.

Game started, we could see our players was probably still tired from the big game a couple of days prior. We kept cheering, even when we were losing. I, of course, had my eye on one prize.

Ong Kim Swee.

Delicious.

Mrs Ong. Hello.

We lost, but I love our Harimau Muda, They're simply amazing. Malaysia Boleh!!!

Hasaegee Nature

Annyeonghaseyo!! No, I dont speak Korean. I watch AF, and there's a dude that says that as his tag line
-__-" God knows what it means.

I must say, I'm blessed with good, non-sesitive face skin. No kidding, I could take sandpaper and rub my face and it'll still be fine. I dont take care of my skin much, I usually sleep with make up on (just so I'll look pretty if I meet Chuck Bass in my dream). I can literally wear any face products on the market, still no difference, I thank my mama for giving me awesome skin, ONLY on my face, because my the rest of my body is so freaking sensitive you have no idea. Pfft.

Any new products in the market (preferbably with cute colourful pacakging!) will definitely catch my eye and I'll be itching to try. This time there's this Korean products, and I thought 'Damn, those people in Korean Dramas have porcelain skin, so why not?'.

HANSAEGEE NATURE!

Super cute packaging, different masks catered for different needs and wants hehe. Their products are tested in Leaders Clinic (Dermatology), it is a cosmedical brand (they are the union of Seoul university graduates). Special prescription containing “Stem cell protein” to revive the skin.

Products available:
- Aquaringer Ampoule Mask
- Whitelux Ampoule Mask
- Caviar Repairing Essential Mask
- Teatree Healing Solution Essential Mask
- Platinum V-lift Essential Mask

Tried all of them, and I LOVE IT!! By the way, the Teatree one has like some calming effect, put me right to sleep.

Of course, I have my mask buddy/lab rat to test things out with me...

Hi Mama.

I think, my skin now is definitely better. Not as dry as it used to be, but not all oily like I could fry an egg. Just nice. Hydrated, they call it. Mommy feels the same way too!! My skin feels smoother, far from porcelain but hey, its a start right? Watch out Korean drama lady! Haha.

Chatime Gathering

Nuffnang invited me to their little gathering over some Chatime. I swear to god, I thought it was pronounced as "Chat-time". It's "Chaa-time".

I've heard all the hoo-haas about this place. Everyone's talking about it and when i got there...

"It's bubble tea. Did'nt yippee cup did this already?"

It was an opening on a Chatime outlet in Publika, Solaris. I like how Publika is still not crowded, unlike other malls.Still very chill-out-ish yo!

Pretty excited to try it out. Free food too!! *big googly eyes*.

Kueh tiow was pretty awesome, but I was dissapointed the 'aunty' did'nt understand my 10 minutes explanation on 'no vege, no taugeh, no vege at all'.

*cringe*

Basically, this Chatime thing is just bubble/pearl tea. Nothing new. They don't even have anything lychee. Pfft. Or durian. Double pfft.

Had to leave early from the gathering because my exams was too close. So yes guys, if you like to chew on that black chewy ball, go ahead and try it, if you havn't. I think they have a little outlet everywhere now, right?

Go go go!

Miss Macaron

Guess who's back? Back again, and bugging people early in the morning, just because she's on Melbourne time.

Twit stalker, spammer. She's Aja. Ajaron. Get it? Aja+Macaron. Nevermind.

Went to see her at her house, because I'm nice (and she bribed me with macarons). If I have diabetes, someone please find her and smack her thank you. It was so awesome, I finished the whole freaking tupperware (which I was suppose to share with my family, sorry).

....and got to play with this little girl!!

Check out the eyes! Selena Gomez can go suck it!

*poke*

This one, tokey kedai kacang kira untung for today. I know she reads my blog, so Hi Makngah!!! :)

Ok, got to go study. Taa!!

Dirt Chic

If you stand in front of my closet, you'll realise one thing. I dont own anything in plain white. There's a reason for that: I am a messy eater, and anything white on me will turn yellow in a day.

I was walking around in Pavi last week, and I kind of 'tergerak hati' wanted to buy a pair of white shoes. Sometimes I want to smack myself in the head for not rationalising things before a purchase. Like I was possessed, I grab a pair of white shoes, walk to the counter, paid, and wore them.

I went home..

Mom & Dad : White? why? U? White? Really? Are you sick? *palm on my forehead*.
Maid: Apasal lu beli sekolah kasut?

Haih.

Fast forward a week later, "I told you so" was everywhere on their foreheads.

Hee. Honestly, I blame the rain. All the puddle, mud, dirt was everywhere. It was'nt entirely my fault. Jeez.

I call it, Dirt Chic. Maybe Kimora will follow me.

Anyway, have a lovely long weekend, people! and.......

 Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha!!!!
