Review: Nur Kasih The Movie

Have you guys watch Nur Kasih the series? If you hav'nt, you just missed out on a huge part of life.

Never heard of it? Well, you might be in the wrong country.

I wanted to watch it on the first day, but something happened.

Exam happened.

So before my last paper, I had to squeeze in some Nur Kasih time. I mean, dude, freaking bonds and shares can wait. I wanted to say hello to Adam *drool*. I even avoided gossip websites because I did'nt want to read any reviews and spoil my moment.

....after giving a piece of my mind to the cinema lady for only having one show per day (non-relevant time either), I dropped my I exchanged Financial Table with caramel popcorn.

5 minutes into the movie, I probably finished up 3 boxes of tissue. So.Freaking.Sad.

30 minutes into the movie, Azrin was on his 5th tissue box.hee.

Omg.Remy Ishak hello.

Its funny how 9 years back, we go 'ohh lala' on the boy with the spikiest hair with chains around his pants. But now, you see Remy Ishak on a prayer's mat you awww, you see Remy Ishak in a kain pelikat holding a Yassin you awww, you see Remy Ishak visiting a grave you aww.

Ok, maybe its just Remy Ishak *tapes a big ass poster of Remy Ishak on ceiling*.

Anyway, the movie really gave some closure from the series. If you havnt seen the series you would probably hear many crickets in the cinema. I was a tad dissapointed about the ending, because it was a bit pointless. Confusing, but pointless.

What I did love, was the messages the were trying to potray in the movie. Like how when a person who wears hijab does not mean they will go to heaven. At the end of the day its between that person and God. I believe in this. You may be out clubbing, partying, dancing away, but you don't know what that person does at home. For all you know, at least she prays 5 times a day, unlike some people who is all covered head to toe, but is out chilling by the roadside during Maghrib.

*shakes head*

Overall, it was an aite movie. They should've make it with a bit more twist.

Rating: 5/10

Diet

I had four days between my stitches and the day I'm taking out those horrible stitches.

I could not eat anything, err, solid? food because it would get all tangled in the stitches (there's also a thread dangling near my throat).

Tried to eat speghetti, that did not turn out so good.

So for the past couple of days, my diet consists of these things.

Yummy, but god bless my blood sugar level.

I miss nasi goreng extra pedas taknak sayur telur goyang atas.

He Lied

I had a very very bad toothache 2 days ago, and when I woke up yesterday morning, I was reluctant to go for my exam, because, well, I was not fully prepared. and its Auditing *scream*.

...but Sharifah is a strong girl, and so off I went to do my paper. Half way through all I wanted to do was tear that damn paper and bang my head to the wall (because of the toothache!). I could have sworn the last few questions was answered with total crap *puppy eyes to Dad*.

Right after, I picked up Azrin and went to the dentist.

I.Hate.Dentists.

So hear's the problem. I have a tooth on my palate. A bit weird because its not on my gums but on my palate. Its because there were too many teeth (i still have a couple of baby teeth heee). So now my wisdom tooth is coming, there is really no space and everything is pushing each other. So genius dentist wanted to pull out my weird tooth (the one on my palate).

...that was my favourite tooth *cry*. it made me feel special.

Me : Will this hurt?
Dentist : No no no, you wont feel a thing

Well, that nasty old man was a big fat liar. He could not pull out my weird tooth (I have superman teeth btw) so what he did was, he cut the palate around the tooth and pull it out.

Psycho.

Than he stitched god knows what.three times.

Double psycho.

See that black part? That was where the tooth was. Now that's the thread.Eeeeek.

As soon as I stepped out of the clinic, it starting to hurt like a *teeeeeeeeeet*. I guess Azrin enjoyed his peaceful 10 minutes when I could not talk. I bet he wished he could stuff cotton in my mouth all the time.

When I got home, I called him.

Me : *yap yap yap yap*
Azrin : Arn't you suppose to rest your mouth. Stop talking
Me: *countinues yapping*

Framed

So for Azrin 24th birthday, he organised a little dinner party (sorry, hun.everyone's busy with exam and work, so no surprise for u!) at this place called Frames, at Sunway Pyramid.

I don't like having dinner on one long table, because the person on one end cant have a conversation with the person on the other end. Plus, it kinda feel like you're eating in a prison.

How do you arrange your party so that everyone can talk to everyone? Maybe we should just stand up and walk around and eat.

But mommy said it is not good to stand while eating.

Food.Food.Food. We were all starving, and all our food arrived, except birthday boy's and his brother's (ni sure dua dua tak mandi.bad luck). Like 13 hours late. When it came, our food was all cold (yeck!). Since all of us havnt eaten in weeks, cold or hot, plates could turn into mirrors.

"Happy Birthday to yoo..U smell like the loo..."

Ok.Wish me luck for my exams people!!
Shit.Havnt blog on Fara's birthday.

Sweet Birthday

Hie world!

I could not login my blogspot *smacks forehead*. See, I need a new laptop. Anywho, yesterday was Azrin's 24th birthday! Omgheissooldicouldhearhisbonescracking heee.

I'm so hyper.I miss my blog. Exam next week, have not start anything *bangs head on the wall*.

Oh yeah, back to birthday boy's big day.Since its now 11.35 pm (scientists say must sleep before 11pm), and le cousin is snoring next to me and it is really tempting me to go sleep (I think she's having a naughty dream *stares at haniff*) so this is just gonne be a short one.

Treated Azrin and Ashraf (not his birthday but hi ashraf! *waves*) Haagen Dasz as a pre-birthday dessert. Actually, we were bored waiting for the party to start.

A few little little birdie told me Azrin little brother is...is...is....... how do we say this, cute?comel?panas? What say you.

..haih this boy, people buy ice cream for him, he go eat Jusco bread *shakes head*

Ok, le cousin just vibrated!!I swear!! HAHAHAHAHAH! Ok, maybe I should sleep on the floor. Bye! *carries pillows and blankets*

BYE *flying kiss* (seriously, what's wrong with me?)

Happy birthday beepster!Bah!!

Strike

I went bowling the other day with Azrin and his brother, Ashraf. Bowling- as far as I would go with sports. This is like, what they call it, cardio for me.hehe.

Honestly, I stink in bowling. The ball would just either swerve to right or way to the left. Starting to think my arm is senget. Now, the Faizs, on the other hand, were on a roll with 'X' and '/' everywhere. Showoff, pfft.

"P" is me, followed by "A" for Azrin and the 3rd "A" is Ashraf.

First round..

Meh, I beat Ashraf *flips hair*.

Second round..

*hides*

By the third round, my arm was about to fall off and I was smelling some awesome food behind. The pins was also starting to look like drumsticks.

Yes, yes, I stink!

But in my defense, Azrin and Ashraf are some competitive brothers, Kinda like...Serena and Venus.Bahaha.

P'riok

It was our 40th month-anniversary the other day (here's a bucket if you need to barf). Usually Azrin will bring me out for a nice dinner and stuff, but this time I decided to turn things around when I surprise him with a steamboat buffet. My treat this time.

This place is a little bit secluded, but it was a gorgeous place. You dine by the lake, where your boyfriend could start reading you poems, and dedicate the moon to you. Ok, if Azrin did that, I would probably push him into the lake.Cheeseball.

Screw having you swin across the ocean (or lake!) in the name of love, I'm here for the food, baby!

We did'nt eat by the lake because if we did, I would have to walk quite far (with stairs!) to the buffet table, and knowing, a super clumsy girl, the idea of me on heels, balancing 40 plates of food is not a good sight. I might just fall and have freaking crabsticks and quail eggs flying everywhere and might even end up in someone's hair. Yikes!

They really got my two thumbs up because of this:

YAM ICE CREAM!!!Anyway, back to us. After 40 months, I think that Azrin and I have grown (physically too!) so much that we just act differently. For example, if we were having a fight, instead of calling my best friend and starting a conversation with "OMG did you know what he did? Such a jerk!", we tend to settle in between us, and that other people did not need to know our problems. We're also getting pretty awesome at pretending nothing happened when we have company.

Ngawh, we've grown up sho fast.

Happy 40th, awak!

Melayu Celup

My girl friends and I have a weird problem. Sometimes, when we text/BBM/Whatapps/on the phone, we like to pretend that we are some Makciks that wears kain batik and gossip with the other makcik next door. Sometimes, we even like to talk like...err..rempits? Somehow, we always end up sounding a little, how do we say this, different.

Fara Whatapps me this morning, and I managed to capture it.hah.
You'll
see what I mean..

12:02 PM: Sharifah Fadilah: Makcik!!
12.02 PM: Sharifah Fadilah: Apa atas?

12:06 PM: Fara:
Saya tidak mahu berkerja..

12:06 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Jadi awak buat apa sekarang?

12:07 PM: Fara: Saya duduk di rumah sahaja
12:07 PM: Fara:
Saya nak jadi gangster hari ni

12:07 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:

12:07 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:

12:07 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Tetapi ujian buka buku

12:07 PM: Fara:
Iye saya.. Saya rasa mahu meng-ila kan diri

12:08 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Ilah-dengan sebiji H

12:08 PM: Fara:
Ujian tidak penting utk menjadi seorang gangster
12:08 PM: Fara:
Cik Peah di mana ye?

12:08 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Saya bukan gangster. Saya inging berjaya di menara gading

12:08 PM: Fara:

12:08 PM: Fara:

12:08 PM: Fara:

12:10 PM: Fara:

12:11 PM: Fara:

12:11 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:

12:12 PM: Fara: Oh, tidak mengapa.. Begitu jauh perjalanan mahu kesana
12:14 PM: Fara:

12:14 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:

12:14 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Pelan lah
12:14 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Ini lah orang tak pergi menara gading
12:14 PM: Sharifah Fadilah:
Saya pon belom pasti lagi.

Phewww. That was hard. After a while we will just gradually go back to english, and life is all glitters and unicorns again.

BTW, on day, i'll show you my conversations with Sarah. You'll die. That girl should not call herself a malay.

I got it from my Mama

Dear Mama,

Thank you for cooking the most ah-ma-zing food in the world. Only you would call me fat while serving ikan masak lemak and say "eat, eat, later u lapar"

Thank you for calling me every morning until my phone battery runs out just to wake me up for class.Even if my class is in the evening.

Thank you for updating me with all the Malay drama there is on TV, when I miss an episode or two. Only you would understand my need to watch Nur Kasih. Oh yes, now your obsession with Indonesian dramas sometimes makes me feel like Bunga Citra.

Thank you for understanding the need of buying new clothes and handbag every week, and projecting those ideas to Abah. Yes, those handbags of yours that I 'borrowed', you'll probably not going to get it back.

Most importantly, thank you for raising me up, til where I am now. I thank you for giving me a comfortable life, and I appreciate every second of it. You're like my best friend that would never backstab me (maybe a couple of times when I told u a secret, and you told Dad). You might be the only person who would still love me even if I'm bald (because Dad is not a big fan of bald people).

I love you more than anything in the world. I am truly sorry if I have ever hurt your feelings, raised my voice, broke your necklace (no, it did'nt just dissapear like that), trouble you and ate your last piece of cake.

Sayang Mama!!!

-Adik

They say everyday is mother's day. Of course it is. My mother thinks so because she wants a present everyday. Sorry ma, I love you everyday, but I'll only get you MD gift once a year.

Dad : Hah new handbag. don't ask me for one anymore

Mom : says who?

Dad : What r u going to do with the overflowing handbags in the room?

Mom : Charity. It'll be empty again, and you can buy me new ones.
