Leading Up To It
I've been suffering from Epilepsy for about six years now and up to now the real cause of it is still not a confirmed thing. Could be genetics, could be hormones, could be lifestyle, could be anything- according to about three different neurologist I went to see. Back then my fits would be about once a month at least, and with the help of medications, it lessen to once every three months, n now less since my doctor kept increasing the dosage of my meds. Feels better with less fits, but let me tell you the side effect of the meds- urgh. From speech, forgetfulness and giddyness to name a few.
This feels weird because I don't usually write about things other than chirpy, happy things in here. If you are close to me, you know how I don't talk and tell anything at all and I just bottle things up inside until...boom! *explosion*. Haha!
...anywho, back to my story, after being marry for three years, of course the subject of children came across our minds but after consulting my doctor, the exlaination of...
1. It won't be safe for the baby with if you get fits during you pregnancy since we know how often you get it
2. The amount of medications you eat may be fed to the baby.
..does make sense. I mean the thought of feeding 10 pills to a baby does scare me. Yes I know it doesn't work that way but it does sound scary! We made an agreement to at least try to get me to be seizure-free for a whole year to reduce the dosage and we'll see from there. Last year, with some lifestyle changes, I was on the way until I almost hit the 7th month, I had a seizure and had to start my 1 year calculation again.
One day, Azrin and I were walking in a mall and we saw an Orphancare booth. We just looked at each other, approched by the lady at the booth, talked to her and decided to register ourselves. During the whole process, even Orphancare told us, we were one of the few of the "no rush" where we said from the beginning that we are in no hurry and if there is a rezeki for us, we accept with open arms. They said that the process will take about 2 to 3 years and they will usually prioritize couples who have been married for more than years. In other words, we won't be their first choice.
Less (almost) than a year later, guys, say hello to Baby Adrian!
Hehe!
For this whole journey for Azrin and I, we told about five people in total I think (only because we had to!). Like I said, I keep things to myself (to a next level), but I am amazed at the support, help and gifts that I get once we made the announcement the day Adrian came home to us.
Endless! Sometimes I wonder what did I do to deserve this people around me. Thank you, everyone!
Alhamdulillah.

She Hits The Three
Sarah reached her *cough* threezero mark yesterday and she was touched that I remembered her birthday the night before. I was offended because, hello! I am not nyanyuk yet and since I have to wish her the same thing for the past 14 years, not something easy to lupa, right?
Me: Eh, since Rais is working tonight, come la I take you out for dinner.
Sarah: Cool. I drop the kids at Mommy's. After maghrib?
Me: See ya.
At around 7-ish, she texted me..
Sarah: Reservation under Sarah. My crew are slowing me down. Running a little late.
Me: Oh! kiddies coming along? Cool!
Reached the place..
"Reservation under Sarah please"
"Oh yes. 9 pax?"
*crickets*
How many kids did she pop within the last few months??
It was nice to celebrate with her whole fambam!
Me: Aunty Lina, why did you let Lala order? She can't control herself
Aunty Lina: Lala, Sha is getting sick just by looking at the food.
Me: You are banned from ordering. Banned.
Sarah: You know I need to order something from every page right.
I bought her cupcakes and we ate them before the food came so you can imagine the amount of leftovers.
*shakes head*
Anyhuu, Happy Birthday Lalat!! Thanks for leaving me alone in the twentysomething group now. Enjoy!! Like what your mommy said to us:
"Well, you guys are definitely older, I don't see the wiser side"

Wedding Back To Back
We don't really get wedding invitations during the fasting month so right after raya, I was not surprised there were just weddings everywhere! Sometimes you don't know if you are passing by a wedding or an open house because everyone is just dressing like cray, possing for photos under the hot sun..oh and the food!
Meriah!
Last week, Azrin and I attended a fellow ex-classmate's wedding. Glamorous wedding! Chryseis and I were classmates since primary school right up to the last day of school haha! So it was nice seeing other "class of 2005" around at the wedding. No pictures with them because everyone were scattered at different table so it was more into bumping into them and a quick hug. Except for a few of them at my table. Oh yes, and of course, Faliq was my senior of two years in school. So when I was in Form 3, he was in Form 5. So with his friends and Chryseis' friends, you can imagine the number of Cempakans there.
So beautiful! I mean, we thought everything was perfect until Shane Filan came and sang for us as we were about to start eating.
Obviously the ladies started giggling and smiling. I mean we were all hungry. All the boys were being gentlemen and waited for us girls to start eating first but we were busy singing along and taking picture of Shane. Haha!
Congratulations Faliq and Chryseis!
So a few days ago, Azrin and I went down to JB because Azrin's brother got married! We drove down Saturday morning (like at 6am!) because the nikah was supposed to be at 10.
Drama here and there but we made it!
...and he is married!! Nice to see everyone there at the nikah, and for an early lunch later. It was a very laid back occasion, awesome location and of course Belle's family is quite amazing!
Later that night I was with my side of the family (aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, brother, SIL, stepmom, daddy) for a tahlil in JB too so it was really like killing two birds with one stone.
To Ashraf and Belle, Congratulations!

Sydney Trip: The City
Here is the second part!
We spent the second second half of our trip in the city and well, they *points at Abang and Azrin* were aiming to shop till we can't fit the luggage in the car. I have a reason why I pointed to my brother and husband when it comes to shopping. There was this one day, we were all so drained out from shopping (like toes popping out from walking kinda shopping) and we headed back to the apartment, as soon as all of us had our 10 minute break and thought of taking a nap..
Abang: Oh! I saw a factory outlet on the way back just now. Who wants to go?
Azrin: Really? Jom!!
*puts on shoes and went off*
Anyway, besides shopping, we did other tourist-y stuff of course.
Taronga Zoo.
It was more to let Little Fa enjoy all the animals since Daddy and I were not so keen on them. Most of the time, we were sitting at cafe sipping coffee. Hehe.
Sydney Opera House.
Of course! Acting like true tourists taking cliche photos there..and super proud of it! Hehe.
Other things.
Walked around the city, had a little picnic went to a market and everything in between.
Just that Azrin and I had to fly back to KL a day before the rest because if we were all going to the airport together, some of us will have to walk there with our suitcases. Imagine Azrin and I arrive in Sydney with 1 suitcase, we came back with 4! Magic! Haha.

Sydney Trip: Blue Mountains
On the 2nd day of raya, us (the whole family) flew off to Sydney for a short holiday. As we arrived, we headed straight up to Blue Mountains just to chill and relax for a couple of days.
It was cold. I was expecting it to be snowy as what the forecast said, but no go.
Azrin and I was bringing out the Malaysian in us as I was stepping out of the house for in a short-sleeved tee and Azrin was in his kain pelikat and in kinda freaked the mat sallehs (who were in at least five layers of clothes) out
"Guys, please please keep yourselves warm. Especially in the evening. We are expecting some snow later. Please"
Haha.
We also went to this place called Scenic World, where you can enjoy the view and everything.
A fun place because since the have a few kinds of cable cars for everyone to go see the views. Extra fun for us because some of us are scared of heights *points at Azrin*, some of us melatah *points at Stepmom* and Little Pei and I will just poke her everytime the cable car moves, and some of us would rather take a long long walk than stepping on the cable car *points at Abang*
#kononnakhealthy
There is really nothing much to do up there but I enjoyed it more that the city to be honest. Just to laze around and relax. I mean, yes there are less place to shop but it is just not as hectic as the city. Love!
After three days of freezing up there, we headed down to the city.
