Opposite

Now dah we have been married for more than a year, there are more and more things that Azrin and I learned about each other and since we did not live together before getting married, I must say we are enjoying the honeymoon period, finding out that opposite do attract.

I think the only thing in common between Azrin and I is that we order all our food with "taknak sayur, extra pedas". That's it. So yay to only getting cili padi at the vegetable section when grocery shopping.

I thought he is this really ignorant guy who knows nothing about me but he will just give me the look with a "Please, it's going to be almost a decade...don't even...". Sheesh.

Like he have been wanting to ask me to teman him watch that x-men whatever movie for a few days now, but he will start by saying 'look, I know you hate these kinda movies...but please...I will even teman you watch Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2. Please.....'

*eyebrow raised*

Urgh.

Here I am watching a bunch of people attacking each other and in order to keep my sanity, I've got to do it while playing Candy Crush. If this is not love, I don't know what is.

He is excitedly trying to explain who blue lady is, why that guy with the helmet is in a wheelchair and Halle Barry used to be the lady who can 'buat mendung lepas tu storm'

*crickets*

Sorry but I still can't watch all these movies that are not realistic. Nonsense.

...but Azrin is making me a less bitter person. I already have a sombong face, so I don't need to be this bitter, sombong, bitchy lady. He keeps reminding me that it is ok to be a child sometimes..because its ok for him to idolize Ariana Grande.

Stepma's Birthday

It was Stepmother's *cough* Big 40 Big 20 last week and Shafiqah asked if we should plan a surprise.

I mean, hello...asking me about surprises..duh! Texted the whole family and Stepmom's family for the last minute surprise. We had a few days to plan.

The plan : Everyone pretend to forget her birthday and plan to go out for dinner to celebrate Azrin's birthday dinner.

I was not sure if I could tell Daddy since he can't keep secrets to save his life, and even if I were to tell, how? Plus, they are together all the time.

Useful-ness of our heritage and language. Hehe.

Journey

Today at work, Olivia was supposed to go for a taklimat/interview/meeting/whatever-you-call-it for one of the shows and since it was her first time going through that, I decided to teman her.

She explained to me yesterday so I prepared myself to go to the police station today with all the info.

We reached the police station 30 minutes earlier than our appointment time, all happy and confident.

Got out of the lift of the level that we were told to go..

"JABATAN NARKOTIKS"

*crickets*

Me: Errr....Olivia, r u sure?

With two sloppy men in hanfcuffs sitting on the floor, eyes rolling away towards the ceiling *shivers*.

All the policemen were super helpful (probably because of Olivia's gorgeous smile) but they kept saying "tak pernah ada" but we insisted that it was there. Called to check with a few people and they confirmed it was correct. Policemen were already planning to take our urine test

Managed to contact the PIC and she said she is going in for a meeting.

Olivia : Yes!! Meeting with us. But we are not there.

Crazy traffic to rush to DBKL with a little bit of sesat, managed to reach...an hour late.

Haih.

Thank god they accepted our apology and started the meeting and settled everything.
