Sashimi

Azaliya's friend came down from Aussie for a few days and she was bringing him around. Seriously, I would'nt know where to bring a tourist besides KLCC. Say I-city and I'll smack you with a stool! Urgh.

She was bringing him to MPC for dinner and of course I invited myself and my boyfriend (seriously no malu).

We had Japanese for dinner and ohmygod the sashimi! Foodgasm! I can eat sashimi everyday, fo real!

I had two servings of sashimi. Wanted more but was a tad shy..

High School

Azrin, Azaliya and I went to one of my high school friend's wedding on Friday. I was so excited because I was hoping to see faces I havn't seen in ages!

The wedding was beautiful! Well, she was beautiful of course!

.....and Cempaka re-union! More like 5 Commerce mini reunion.

So happy to see my classmates all doing great right now. We were all in the same class for two years and even though we might have given HBP to all the teachers, see, everyone's berjaya now! Love!

Congratulations Sza and Fahmi! I remembered talking about weddings on our double date that one time and yes, you guys jalan first. Hehe! So proud of you guys!

Stupid Giraffe

Little niece was going through her toy chest (more like taking out everything and throwing them on the floor), and she found something interesting she wanted to play with.

A stupid deflated giraffe with no body.

I passed it to Daddy to blow it up, he pretended to sleep so I passed it to my cousin. Haha.

It takes a lot of energy to blow up a damn giraffe! Abang and Elisa could at least buy her a teeny little mouse or something.

"I'm tired!! Its never ending"

Ta-daa!! All done. There you go, little niece!

She stepped on it for about 20 seconds and continued looking through her toy chest.

A Year Older

16 December. Shafiqah turns 24.

17 December. Abang turns 32.

Happy Birthday to both of you. We had a small dinner celebration yesterday. Of course when the bill came everyone pretended to be busy and the waiter handed me the bill. Haha.

My little attention-seeking niece thought it was her birthday. We even sang Happy Birthday to her!! *crickets*.

Anyway, have a great year ahead you two! Happy Birthday!!

Wedding Weekend

End of the year would always be most couple's choice to get married. Sometimes we have a few invitations in a day and some of them are not nearby that we have to turn them down. This weekend I had three functions to attend, one all the way in Johor. I was so tired, I drove back to KL last night with one eye closed (crazy stupid traffic from Seremban to KL did not help either).

Fifty Nine

Some people might think this duration is short but for us, so much has happened, some good, some not so good. While some people think its very 'mengada' of us to celebrate every month, well I think its sweet.

Azrin and I celebrated our 59th month of being together. We did'nt celebrate the past 3 months because I kept getting my seizure on the 12th, so yeah!

I wanted to eat pasta so we went to Flora Terrace for the yummiest Salmon Pasta I've ever tasted but they were closed so my second favourite pasta is Tony Roma's Shrimp Pasta. Yumm. Oh you guys HAVE to try Flora's salmon pasta. To freaking die for, man!

There are these voices saying that it's such a waste of money to celebrate every month and that we could do so much more with the money. Ok, first of all, thank you for your concern but not that we asked for your cash. Secondly, what's the harm of going out to have a nice dinner and just talk over some yummy mocktails (google mocktails before accusing me of drinking!).

So Happy 59th, Bubu! One more month to our 5-year anniversary. So excited!

Diet Journey

Sorry friends, I'm booked for the next month or so. She's back!



Oh how I've missed her! Yay!!

We're planning to go for short trips here and there (usually tak jadi, lets hope this time jadi) and of course I have to teman her eat everything before she heads back to Melbourne. Diet down the drain. I should start buying new jeans because in about 2 months, I won't fit anything.

Oh how I've missed blogging! Daddy is in the hospital now so for the past 3 days, I left home at 8 am and come back at 11pm, too tired to do anything.

My short trip to Singapore was basically just to eat 'Sup Tulang', but Azrin and I had a few hours to 'jalan-jalan' so we walked around here and there. I actually walked! A lot! *pats back*.

We were walking around Marina Bay Sands when both of us suddenly stopped in front of a gorgeous door. No, not Prada. Not Chanel. It was the casino, yo! Haha.

At the door, Azrin got stopped and the dude triple checked his passport.

"Sir, you're 25? You look like you're 19"

"Thanks" *flips hair*

Pfft.

Of course we won! Called Dad to inform him what an awesome daughter he have. Gahaha. With a bit of lecture, of course.

Sneezefest

The season is back! No, not Christmas, not Raya, not Halloween guys. Its the everyone's-falling-sick season. The weather is scary. Hot as hell in the morning, rain like cray in the evening. All of that equals to falling sick.

Few days ago my body was heating up and while everyone told me to drink 'cap badak' water, I decided to slurp on root beer. Genius, Sharifah. Well, after a while I wanted to drink coconut water (because its cooling, apparently) but I could'nt find any in Damansara area. Many durians, though...hehe.

Another problem with me is I do not know how to blow out my mucus or spit out my phlegm. I've been keeping it in until my chest hurts and its difficult for me to breathe. Until my SIL gave me a tool from heaven (hehe!).

That baby mucus pump thing! Ive been sleeping with it day and night. Even brought it out to lunch and dinner (disgusting, huh?). Want to see the gooey part? If you're eating, please look away.

Hah! You're out of my body. Gahaha. To all of you who's wick as well, get well soon!!

Red Bones

'Jalan-jalan cari makan' showed a restaurant in KL selling 'Sup Tulang', Azrin and I went there twice and they were out of it. So Azrin and I booked a flight ticket to Singapore to get the original 'Sup Tulang'.

Oh so freaking delicious! It was Azrin's first time eating it, and now he's begging me to take him there again. Hello, its not even in the same country as us!

We went on Wednesday, my hands are still red now *licks finger*

"If your go for a medical check up after eating this, the doctor might think u have some kind of internal bleeding" -Dad

My dad threatened to not give me my passport before the flight unless I promised to bring him back some. I was so scared going through that airport xray scanning thing because they might think I killed someone or something. I wrapped the plastic bag full of red bones with 5 layers of my clothes and I passed it! (FYI, meat is allowed in your hand carry -____-')
