I gave a 'hantaran' as a surprise for Izyan for her engagement. My idea and design from scratch...

If y'all are wondering what those colourful balls are inside, it is macaroons and smarties. It was only half filled, because as I was doing the gift, I unknowingly ate a few.heh. Love love love macaroons!! Especially the ones in Rose and Pandan *died*.



....and look what I got for Mummy, because we got into a minor fight, and I felt bad, so I bought and arranged this for her..

Determination

Hello weekend. Could be one of the most miserable weekend ever. 1st paper Monday morning. Wish me luck!

Got to find some time to help with final preparations for Izyan's engagement.

Went to get more flowers.heh. Seriously, I can't get enough of this place. This time we stocked up on pink and white-ish flowers.

Than we head to OU to buy some stuff and get a pedicure/manicure. Although OU is 5 seconds away from my house and I use to go there everyday, I got shocked when almost everything in there has changed. Must have been bout 6 months ago that I last whet there.Shocker.

While she was happily enjoying her manicure..

I had to study while getting a pedicure.

If this is not determination, I don't know what is.

Hopefully whoever that is going to mark my Corporate Finance could see how hard I'm trying to absorb all these "I-dont-know-when-I-will-ever-use-it" formulas.

Review : Takers

On Monday I went for a special screening of Takers.

I did not even know what the movie is about, but oh well, free movies (yay!). I saw the poster and went "Oh darn it, one of those boy-ish movies, explode here and there-snoozefest!."

So it was about a group of guys (hot, gorgeous, steamy, gooey guys) who robs for a living. They seriously made stealing that much hotter. Why?? Because they toss in casts that would make all girls tingling inside *drooool*

First of all, there is T.I *omgdoubletripledroool*. I've always thought T.I is the hottest african-american because he does not wear clothes 30 sizes too big for him and he does not wear more jewelleries than Kimora Lee Simmons. I kept nudging Azrin everytime T.I came out (which is like 10million times yay!!). Howevery he does speak like a drunk, constipated Asian dude trying to be all ghetto and stuff. Wtv, still hot.

As much as this is a guys movie, it really is an eye candy for the ladies (T.I, Paul Walker, Chris Brown). I like the way all the guys dresses up in the movie. I think all men should be like that all the time (you would probably sweat ur butt off in Malaysia, but pain is beauty, right?).

However, Hayden Whats-his-face seriously looked like a girl! For the first half of the movie, I thought it was Samantha Ronson, and after a closer look, and realised it was Hayden.

Go check it out. Its a preety cool movie.

Seafood Galore

I was happily shopping (Azrin just got his pay, woohoo!) in Pavillion when I received a phone call..

Me : *looking at shoes* Hie, Ma!
Mom : I feel like eating seafood. Lets go to Port Klang..
Me : Err....okay. What time.
Mom : 5.30
Me : *looks at watch* Its 5.10, I'm in Pavi..
Mom : See you, bye! *hangs up*

Mom and her random last minute idea, I tell you..

We were actually buying her birthday present (which is a month away, but hey, who could pass on shopping right?), so Azrin and I rushed back to have seafood at Port Klang.


Genius me brought the camera without memory card, so everything is from my Blackberry.

Are there seriously no yummy seafood place in KL?? Not like Fatty Crab, King Crab, or all these crabs place, but more like a nice seafood restaurant. There was Kelana Seafood and now, pooof, its gone. Port Klang is so freaking far, and the roads at night are just creepy.

Review : You Again

Happy 100th post to me!

Who knew, a girl that had a super diffucult time writing homework back in school, has written 100 post.heh.

*pats on back*

On Friday, I went to a special screening of You Again, and honestly, after a very hectic day, I could barely open my eyes during the advertisement.

I thought it would be a typical high school movie ala Mean Girls, and their typical "popular kids vs the loser ones", but turned out to be a great movie. Very interesting concept, too. It was really funny, from beginning to the end. Fantastic storyline!

It was sort off like Mean Girls, but 3 generations of girls!heh. Pretty cool..!

I did'nt know Betty White was in the show. I love her!! Great actress, I tell you.

Rating : 9/10!

Preparation

Ok, I know I was suppose to be studying, unfortunately, I'm too caught up in watching "Chinta" (thanks, mom!)..but seriously, tomorrow will be the day!

Although I have been hibernating at home for the whole week, yesterday was a very hectic day.

First, I had to be chauffer to a dear cousin, Izyan, in preparation of her engagement next week. I get so freaking excited wen it comes to weddings, engagements, anything involves dresses, flowers, gifts all in one occasion.

I want to plan for *cough*my*cough*wedding too!

So anyway, went to KL to pick up things for the ceremony. I have always wanted to go to Cocoa Boutique in KL, but no one wants to accompany me. At, last Izyan is willing to.heh. It was preety awesome! All sorts of chocolates. Even chilli chocolate!

Guess what I bought??



Yummy-est thing on earth. Unfortunately, Dad finished it all.


"Your dad is like an ant, where ever there is sweet stuff, he'll be there"-Mom.

Than off too Bangsar to go to a, err, flower factory?? Ok, so it is a warehouse that sells all sorts of flowers. And the place is so huge- sort of like a big, big refrigerator with millions of flowers. Its called Floristika!


Oh, there are gorgeous, gorgeous flowers! Bloody cheap too. 20 stems of roses, for less than RM20! *waves at Azrin*. They don't allow pictures snapping, but I managed to secretly steal a couple of photos (btw, Blackberry's camera is so noisy!).

Izyan, wanted to get her brows done (for the first time!) and I had the honour to witness the torture.heh. Since my brows are so disgustingly amazon-ish, I got it done too!yay!! I have crazy confidence issue when I don't thread my brows...do you?

Look it, disgusting right??Urgh.

Got home, and had to rush to a special screening.yikes!

Hell-to-tha-no!

Exam timetable is out! Can't believe the semester is coming to an end. 13 weeks just wooosh-ed by so quickly *grabs geek glasses*.

Thank god the timetable is not bad.

1st November : Corporate Finance
9th November : Law of Financial Institutions and Securities
10th November : Commercial Banking and Finance

Not bad, right?


I have been saying "I'm going to start studying for tomorrow" for a week now, still a no go. I need motivation. Maybe I should go shopping first to clear my head.Or maybe a spa.Or a holiday!! Than I would be at peace, and all these formulas could really be in my brain, no?

Snip Snap

It has been so hot this past few days, that everytime I walk out of my house, by the time I get into my car, I would be sweating like mad and I would get all gooey and stuff.Gross!

So, I went to...

CUT MY HAIR!!

I went to Shawn Cutler, in TTDI to get a hir cut, and I find it super cool that they have a little computer machine thingy to check out your hair and scalp before getting it cut, to see the condition of your hair, scalp and to even know which direction your hair grows and what not.

Shawn : My dear, your hair is in good condition..not too much problem..

Me : ???? *taps on computer* your little computer is telling lies. *looks at Shawn* ...and you, mister, needs to get your eyes checked. I could see split ends from a mile away.

Shawn : ..........................

Ok, maybe being sacarstic to your hairdresser may not be such a good idea. Afterall, they might make you walk out the door looking like a poodle.

After an hour and a half of cutting, I could really see that my hairdresser was tired..

Him : OhMyGod, your hair is never ending...I want to have your hair.

Me : Yeah??I want never ending legs..

Him : ................................

I kept asking him to cut shorter and shorter, and he started freaking out.heh. I would go bald, if I could, because I can't stand this thick hair which, by the way, is a superb heat absorbent.

Him : *looks at mountain of hair on the floor* we could make about 10 wigs from your hair, you know..

Me : Lets make 'hair coats' for the homeless. At least PETA won't be calling...heh.
